  1. With the video that I brought up, and many others that I have seen, the narrator claims that "scientists say this" and "archaeologists say that", but in reality, these scientists and archaeologists are nonexistent. What they have in their place are amateur scientists and archaeologists that don't have any formal training in these areas and certainly don't have any business making "expert" claims. It is my opinion that most of these "experts" became "experts" to make money by making fantastic claims, which people want to believe because they're fantastic. After all, how awesome would it be if Atlantis was real? What would be even greater is if Atlantis was real and founded by aliens! I'm most familiar with Ivan van Sertima and Erich von Daniken who are among the most famous of these pseudoscientists, especially von Daniken, and they consistently twist evidence, ignore evidence, or flat out make stuff up. Edit: My beef isn't with people claiming to see UFOs, it is with people like van Sertima and von Daniken that make outlandish claims about Atlantis, ancient Egypt, the Olmec, etc.
  2. Doesn't it bother you that out of the ten or so "experts" interviewed in Ancient Aliens, only one is an actual scientist? All of the others are well known pseudoscientists. The one scientist interviewed, while believing that Yonaguni is man-made, doesn't think it is older than Mesopotamia.
  3. So has anyone figured out what happened yet? Its been several days and it is still driving me crazy!
  4. Does it? Aren't they completely different types of players?
  5. WTF. This is a good problem to have and everything, but damn.
  6. "I was making LBs committed to Miami, committed to Alabama look silly."
  7. On Power Hour right now. He is full of enthusiasm and seems to really love the game.
  8. I don't see Greenberry on any of the rosters, why does he say in that article that he is going to win offensive MVP? PS...this is from 247. I like the competition between commits. Just talked to Notre Dame safety commit C.J. Prosise to get some additional items on him for a feature in our August edition and he said that he's gearing up for the Gridiron Kings 7On tourney in Orlando. He noted that fellow Irish commits making the trip are CB Tee Shepard, WR Deontay Greenberry and CB Ronald Darby. Shepard and Greenberry confirmed that they'll be there for the event. "I'm there," Greenberry said. "I'm trying to win Offensive MVP again (like 'The Opening' in Oregon." Shepard's comment (who took home the Defensive MVP at the same event as his cousin): "I already have it." Prosise's response to Shepard already claiming MVP... "No, I've got that locked down."
  9. Haha, I have a similar story. I was talking to a friend a few years back and was telling her that I couldn't believe that I was 22 already. She replied, "Greg, you're 23." One year of my life gone in 5 seconds!! I'm 26 now.
