All this talk about nothing to gain is pathetic. Whatever happened to just being competitive and wanting to win games? Is pride not a thing anymore?

"We are far more battle-tested" - that loss to those Akron Zips was quite a battle. As we stand today our opponent's win-loss record is 33-33. Northwestern's opponent's record is 33-31. So, if 2 fewer losses = far more battle tested then I guess he is correct. Or maybe they have simulated battles in practice and he was making a reference to that. I just hope none of our players run into the wall in the end zone that sits 3 feet off the back line.

Fleck - 100%. He can actually connect with players and enjoys what he is doing. Has any player in the last 9 years talked about a positive relationship with Kelly? Has anyone ever said, "That guy changed my life" or "that guy really had an impact"?

What are the chances this happens? The only other premiere game that day is Michigan at Penn State. But the following week Penn State plays Ohio State which would be a much bigger game if the rankings hold. I know some people are anti-Gameday or anything ESPN, but it's still exciting and something I may travel to if the opportunity presents itself.

I'm sure it will rub some people the wrong way but I think the video is great. I love that he threw an Alabama helmet back in the water. Hopefully his play on the field is just as creative.

Oklahoma beat #6 Baylor and they are about to beat #18 TCU. Again, our best win is NAVY. Stop being a homer, we haven't beat anyone and we have looked mediocre against the two worst teams in the ACC.

Because we have QUIT. We want nothing to do with this game. We just want to go home and hope that Stanford doesn't show up next week.

MSU has a better resume than us - they have beaten 3 ranked teams - one of those teams being #3 Ohio State. Our top win right now is #16 Navy. Maybe Temple squeaks back into the rankings but c'mon. We can't say we have beaten Oregon, Michigan and OSU. If we are being honest, Oklahoma and Michigan St. deserve to be ahead of us, for now.

Because we aren't focused, we clearly didn't care about this game and we are just going through the motions. We are hoping that enough of the other teams lose so we don't have to actually earn our spot in the playoff.

Agreed. No execution or discipline. It just seems careless. Does anyone look excited to be there?
