  1. I find it difficult to guess, much less conclude, anything with respect to Freeman's recruiting at ND. The sample size is just too small (almost non-existent). Writers need to write.
  2. This actually cheapens her real accomplishments. D-1 keeper at a great academic school is impressive and worthy of praise.
  3. Good point. The distinction, I believe, is when a coach ignores multiple failures when hiring someone with whom he has a history. When Kelly chose Van Gorder, a good portion of Van Gorder's CV seemed questionable.
  4. Any chance that DD can sticky more years of Big's Recruiting Prospects threads? This time of year I find myself going back to Big's earlier recruiting threads as players move up the ranks an are mentioned in interviews, pressers, etc.
  5. Who started DD? What were the early days like? When was DD started? Where was it started? How did they start it? I've seen the names of the frequent posters and Mods change over the years and was wondering what is in the Domer Domain DNA.
  6. The bolded portion of the quote is accurate and well stated. Why would someone in Js's position advise his client to insert itself into a situation (i.e. local gyms) over which it has no control? The exposure would be enormous and no attorney worth his legal pad would give the advice (i.e. distribute the pamphlet) many on this board believe should have been given. There might be many other reasons to critique, fire or charge JS. Failure to advise his client to voluntarily increase its exposure is not one of them. Also, fwiw, in Maryland at least, the Attorney-client privilege can be waived by the he client; not the attorney. If the client waives privilege, there is little the attorney can do about it.
  7. Was falling asleep watching in third quarter; didn't fight it. Refreshed this morning.
  8. Was watching with a group and didn't catch audio, but how did our punter fare? Looked bad to me.
  9. Thanks for the kind words Balto. I'm psyched for the lad and he is really prepared for ND. Among other things hss AP tested out if Calc 1,2 and Calc 3 and linear algebra will be a review. As was said in intro welcome yesterday, ND isn't just a university but a way of life. Amen to that.

His mother is stressed about losing her baby but consoled knowing in loco parentis is alive and well on csmpus - as it was in her days here.

Tears from her last night back at the hotel but she's holding it together. Hopefully seeing him a bit today and hearing he had fun with new dorm mates last night will bouy her spirits. Also hope she sees some old friends at Alumni reception this evening.

    All the best my friend.

  10. Congrats again; enjoy the move in! It's tough saying goodbye; find comfort in the great school and great people your child will meet.
  11. If either QB left before Texas, would he preserve any eligibility?
