  1. Some chatter from minor sources that Foskey is planning to return. Sampson tweeted decision will be made on or by 1/8/22.
  2. I'm excited to see the everyday offense/defense competitions in spring ball. I remember when ND strength instituted the team challenges for off-field conditioning and we saw immediate returns in the S&C of our team. I think Freeman's focus on competition will help develop our guys, especially the younger guys, by pushing them every practice.
  3. The 2021 class had some dudes in the secondary too. They're young now, but here's hoping Riley, Barnes, and Tucker all take a major step forward this year and contribute next year. All are over 6' so they have the desired length at CB.
  4. Here's noted hardass, Nick Saban, CAVING to the SOFT WORLD we've become. (Or, he's just an incredible coach who is demanding but also knows how to coach his guys in a way where he can get the best out of them).

If Jack Collinsworth is anything like his dad, I’m in favor. I think the whole “this announcer STINKS” narrative is overblown (esp. among ND fans in my experience), Collinsworth does have some tics, but all in all I like the job he does.
  6. I've seen where a new WR coach will help re: their uneasiness around Del and the WR room. It's so weird to me that universally people say a) Del is a great guy AND b) none of the WR trust Del. I'd love to know how both seem to be true?
  7. He's been the OC for two years, first year they landed Styles, Colzie (by Rees staying on his butt), and Thomas and this year they had a good class......until they didn't lol. So our depth issues are hardly Tommy's fault next year. Two years down the road when Styles/Colzie/Thomas are Seniors (or in the NFL because they tore it up-- here's hoping) depth is Tommy's fault.
  8. He wants to play closer to home because his dad is a HS coach and he has to leave the house at like 4am to drive to ATL, Fly to Chicago, then drive to SB to catch games or something crazy like that. No hard feelings, Bramblett just wants to be closer to home so his family can watch him play. Also, if he goes to Bama, will probably win a NC.
  9. I was talking about Moala. I think Bramblett has been a good-very good punter for most of his career, but he did has a tendency to let the 35 yd shank punt sneak in at seemingly the worst moments.
  10. I don't think him leaving will be any big loss, especially coming off of two achilles injuries. Seemed like a good player pre-injury, best of luck to him.
  11. Bramlett, while known for awhile, is officially in the Portal.
  12. How do you mute someone? 2022 will be a lot better without having to listen to the whinging of this pissbaby.
  13. Cam Hart can play man, Clarence Lewis cannot against better teams. He got abused today.
  14. Do you ever shut the frig up? No one, as you admitted, has said that anyone wanted ND to lose and it was OK because they got Kelly.
  15. Honestly, if he's even half-decent, which I'm sure he will be given his pedigree, he could be a dynamic recruiter similar to MF- highly ranked prospect, high level college player (3x All-American), and 2nd rd pick with 8 yrs in the NFL.
  16. As long as he's able to play some snaps and not put the entire burden on Bracy + Barnes, we should be good.
  17. A thread for after the bowl about players announcing their decisions to return/go pro, etc. Staying: Lenzy, Takacs, Lugg, Griffith, Jayson Ademiola, Justin Ademiola, Wilkins, DJ Brown, Foskey, Patterson, Bo Bauer. Outgoing: Hamilton, Kyren, MTA, Kevin Austin, Isaiah Pryor, Drew White.
