Yeah well the original plan was for the family to move to South Bend. I'm just saying things might be different if he had been getting good PT. And yes, we have other good athletes and players who can step in, but not with his specific skill set, which is the skill set Kelly wants for the spread. Ability to run and catch, jet sweeps, etc. The way Tavon Austin is used at WVU. Not to say he'd be that good, but the skill sets are similar. I just don't think he was given a fair shot. And I gotta say it might effect my play if I knew I had a kid on the way, and he dealt with that the whole season. So maybe it's a bit of a stretch to call him the best play maker on the team, but writing him off as not proving anything and just stating next man in is a much more inaccurate way to look at things.
