  1. More importantly, did you see the window that Harman fit that into?!?!
  2. Yeah, no thanks. I'd have said YES 2 months ago, but the QB room is looking much better these days. Dropping this kid in there wouldn't do us any favors.
  3. Reminds me of the good old days and having the gigantic Funny GIF thread. Maybe it's still somewhere, ha.
  4. Somewhat related, but I wish we had an opportunity to see Angeli at least run the offense for a few quarters here and there last season to know if we had ANYTHING to work with there. I mean, could he push TB at all for the backup spot next year? Are we already assuming he'l be behind Minchey by the end of spring? A few handoffs doesn't tell us anything. I don't see any way, barring something crazy, that 10 doesn't start next year. But in my opinion, it's almost as important to develop whomever will take over in '24 as well. There aren't going to be many reps to go around, especially once the season starts. How do you get good reps for 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers?
  5. I see Harper as being a replacement for Bracey, could be wrong but seems to make sense in the nickel. I'd imagine this might push Clarence Lewis or one of the sophomore DBs to safety. If Catalon isn't coming, I wonder if that meant it was first come, first serve at safety? Or it means DJ Brown is coming back. My biggest concern is we need bodies on the DL, especially inside. Need a Vyper and 2 DT's?
  6. Updated with Hartman. also, I’m not sure how you keep Thomas out of the Starting lineup at WR??
  7. Wonder if Hartman moves the needle for any potential transfers, either staying or coming?
  8. LFG. ND should have a legit offense next year, no excuses. Kinda makes you wonder, did they tell Pyne he could stay but they were going to go ahead and need his #10. Only half kidding, haha.
  9. Guess my hunch on Joseph was wrong. Surprising to me. Can see him being a late round pick but seems he had an opportunity to improve that and make decent NIL money if he came back.
  10. It was the only reason I turned that game on.
  11. Right I get that. I think he’s a good college QB and that’s all I care about. My point was if he’s hoping to make a bunch of up front money, ND won’t be his destination.
  12. Mostly I'm just hoping to see what we have in TB12. Hopefully the "bad OL" play won't be an excuse as to why he didn't execute. He spent all season in the box with Tommy taking mental reps. Is that going to help? Who knows. I still think he has to play FB to get better and he hasn't play much of it in the past 3 or 4 years. We all know he can run. But, with his injury history, running 10-15 times a game won't last. He has to be able to pass the ball, short and long, with consistency. Also, I hope to see what some of the younger guys can do. I hope they got lots of practice reps. I hope our younger OL got reps. Younger LB's got reps, Sneed, Kollie. Do we have anything in Botello?
  13. My one concern is, he doesn't project well to the NFL. He doesn't have the measurables and arm strength they are looking for. Even if he plays lights out for ND, that won't change. Which means NOW is his chance to make life changing money. Will ND do that for him? Maybe, but not in an upfront way, P4P manner. Obviously his exposure goes through the roof and I still say a good starting QB and ND will make bank. But, if P4P is what he's looking for, ND will lose this one.
  14. Sweet baby Jesus don’t mess this up. we’re immediately a contender with him.
  15. Wasn’t necessarily about Bowen or ND, just a word of caution to all HS kids.
  16. I also saw a tweet telling kids to be careful not to disrespect schools with your commitments, it might be those same schools you want attention from when you enter the transfer portal.
  17. I don't have any factual data on this, but I've "followed" recruiting for 20 years or so now, and it just seems like the kids who play these games, have a real issue with commitment, flip flop, take the easy way out, etc, never pan out to be the players worth all the effort. Time will tell I suppose but I think in a few years we'll all be saying, what was all the fuss about this kid.
