Yeah, I’m in the same boat. He’s a nice role player, can run the jet sweep and stretch the defence. I feel like with a descent OC, him and Tyree would get a bunch of screens and plays to get them the ball in space. As much as I’d like both to stay, I feel it’s in their best interest to move one.

Hard to say from a highlight tape. He mostly ran go routes and created separation pretty consistently. Kind of reminds me of Will Fuller. If he can be half the player he was, we’ll be really happy with him (granted he commits).

Styles hasn’t looked anything like the WR we saw in 2021 vs UNC or OSU. If what we saw this year is what we get in the future, then let him walk. He isn’t going to get playing time at any top school with the effort he put forth this season.

After what we’ve seen from Liufau, and the glimpses we’ve seen from Kollie and Sneed, there’s no way you don’t play those guys more. Those are the only two linebackers who had a chance of containing Caleb Williams.

Both teams are beatable and I also don’t think Rattler is playing. They basically beat two top ten teams without their starting QBs. Losing to a middling OU team is a bad look, meanwhile losing to USC doesn’t look so bad. Plus, with transfers and disappointment with the bowl destination, we have no clue what type of team we’ll field.

What are you guys hearing for projections? I saw most having us playing South Carolina in the Reliaquest Bowl, but with USC’s loss, I am now seeing Gator Bowl vs one of the Mississippi teams. Definitely would have preferred to play the real USC or LSU. Hoping this is still a possibility.

Let me guess, our Clemson win doesn’t count because DJ was playing again? Lol. I’m excited to see how Michigan performs in the playoffs. I feel like our programs have the same blueprint for success. They just have a better QB and skill players. If Michigan can win one, so can ND.

True, but I just don’t think the Big 12 is a good conference. More like a glorified group of 5 conference along with the ACC. The PAC 12 champ lost to Florida, so they’re not far behind. As a CFB fan, do you want to see UGA trounce TCU, or watch an entertaining matchup vs Bama?

People might not want to hear this… but if this gets uglier than it is looking, Bama will have a chance. I actually don’t disagree. We know TCU isn’t beating Georgia, but I know Bama could.

My bad… Williams is not just a guy without his legs. His ability to throw on the run and off his back foot, with that velocity, is just stupid. The only other guys doing that are Mahomes and Rogers. For anyone that ever played QB, you’d know the sheer arm strength that entails… it is absurd. second edit: as a pure pocket passer, he’s just a guy. Stares down way too often.

Who else is watching Utah vs USC? Am I overreacting by saying Williams is in the same class as guys like Vince Young and Tim Tebow? The fact he has this USC team here is unbelievable.

True, but having someone like this in the middle gives you the ability to put Mills on the outside. Does Nana stay? Does Botelho stay? The young guys probably aren't ready. It is going to be d line by committee, and the more bodies we have the better.

Do you think the reason we didn’t see Angeli vs UNLV or BC was because the staff is that incompetent, or they really didn’t want him throwing the ball? Either way, Angeli has a low ceiling. I still think Buchner is Andrew Hendrix 2.0, but he has way more potential than Angeli.

Do I think Buchner is the guy? No, I don’t, but he has way more potential than Angeli. How many CFP teams in the past ten years have had statues at QB like Angeli? Not many. I don’t think our guy is on the roster, but I’d like to see Buchner with this much improved offensive line.

We have someone on defense named Moore? That’s news to me. I would probably go with Colzie, Thomas or Correll on offence and Botelho or Morrison on Defence.

I think you go after two. Brennan Armstrong is another candidate. So is McCall if he enters. If one loses the contest, I’m sure they’ll transfer the next season if they have any eligibility. If Buchner returns, I doubt they promise the job to anyone.
