  1. Drew Brees: stature, composure, accuracy, touch and vision. He dies st times make a bad decision but relative to the amount of playing time it’s not a problem that can’t be fixed.
  2. That wimbush broke his hand in the wake game and they kept it under wraps. Before the Miami game started they showed wimbush in the locker room getting dressed for the game. His hand was extremely swollen. Even though it was his left hand an injury like he that could effect his throwing mechanics and overall performance.

  4. I don't post much any more. Actually not in a long time, but I thought I would give you an update on what is very solid information from a very reliable source located in South Bend. We will get three players back, the fourth is in limbo and is exploring a possible transfer why who knows. The situation was blown way out of proportion for a variety of reasons. No details on players returning in time for Rice but most likely for Michigan. That's all I will say or can say at this time.
  5. If we can get Isaac Saaviinea and we need a spot to take him. I am telling you it would be an upgrade if Anzalone renaged. If Manti is now our standard which he is and I know its hard to find another Manti we need to look for perfection to achive excellence. Jaylon is perfection as a HS player, he will have a great chance to achive excellence at ND. Thats the bench mark.
  6. Hey guys all I am saying is that I have seen him play and I have seen many of the teams play over many years in that league and county. I am a die hard ND fan and am hoping Alex is the next Manti, but I just dont see it. That is not to say that he won't develop into a top notch LB, but he has a long way to go. Its one thing to run around with no pads at camps and look great but its another thing to have the instinct and dominance when you get the pads on. I have seen him with the pads on. Time will tell. Anyway Go Irish, lets crush Michigan!
  7. I am from the Wyomissing PA area and I am going to bring you all back to reality on AA. First off the league he plays in is weak. The schools are small and the competition is very poor as compared to the better parts of PA let alone CA TX FL and even VA. Alex is a decent player but he is no super star, at ND he will be another McDonald and maybe even not that good. So if we lose him I would not be concerned. I have seen him play and we can do better. It is proof to me that you can't go by the recruiting services.
  8. Think back to the 58-7 thumping that Jimmy Johnson administered to Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl in Gerry Faust's last game. Former legendary Notre Dame coach Ara Parseghian, working as a studio host for CBS, uttered these immortal words, "From these ashes, a phoenix shall rise." Lou Holtz created that phoenix. And now Kelly is doing the same piece by piece, step by step and the Phoenix will rise and I do not think it will be long until it does. And when it does it will be rise to last for a long time or at least as long as Kelly is around. The foundation is being laid for the program to again be a power house repsected program thanks to BK and Jack Swarbrick. They are both on the same page and have the same goal, build it to last.
  9. How do you get the breakfast tickets. can you buy them or are they hard to get.
  10. This guy is not a ND guy. No humility, glad we didn't get him. He nneds attention and is the type of guy that can cause problems on a team. Thats why he chose rutgers to be the cener of attention. IMO
  11. Put the entire college football world on notice, the Fighting Irish are coming, we are on our way back to the top!
  12. This recruiting class is just another sign of what Kelly told Swarbrick during the interview process. "This is what I do, this is how I do it and I know it works" Its coaching, its conditioning, its a culture, its RKG's, its recruting...Its a process and Kelly is following his plan to a national championship and it won't be long.
  13. Genoa, The last national championship in 1988, although we were ripped off in 1993, I was at the Miami game and in the corner of the end zone where the two point conversation was knocked down and I can tell you the rush was unbelivable. I went from being entirely consumed in happiness to crying. It was just incredible. Peoplke arpound me were going crazy some cheering some crying some just standing and looking into the stadium like they were seeing God. There was hugging and high fiving and celebration beyond belief, the high of all highs. I can not wait till we win our next championship and for that BCS game it will be one of the greatest days ever.
