If you read down in the attached article about Arizona’s Athletic Department financial troubles one of the possible options is to sell the athletic department to an outside company……I understand funding sports has always been an issue but I think things have gotten even more out of control ( I.e. coaches multi million dollar contracts, or facilities costs). Player’s (NIL $) and coaches money increases while athletic department go under…..scary for college sports

Wonder how many others are out there with similar financial woes. I’ll bet quite a few. Sell to a for-profit company could work? That’s an entirely new can of worms.
