We at Clemson have a very high opinion of this Notre Dame Team and your fans

I just wanted to drop in and tell you guys that we know it was a tough loss, but what a class act your team is.  It was coming down to the wire and your guys were just great sports as were the Domers that came to our stadium.  I am glad we won obviously, but while yet another loss would have really stung for us, the way your guys disciplined themselves on the field and the sportsmanship they showed is second to none.  Hopefully, no one came away from our stadium feeling like they were treated poorly. It happens as there are always a few bad nuts lying around.  Hats off!

I went to the CFP playoff game where Clemson dominated ND. I was completely impressed by the Clemson fans I came across there. To a person they were the kind of fans you want as ‘representatives’ of your school.

Generous of you to take time to say.  Attended the Cotton Bowl a few years back where Clemson crushed us.  And last year, I sat by many of your fans last year in South Bend when the game went in our favor.  I have said the same about your supporters.  Class acts, good fans, either way.  Best of luck rest of the way!
