Yeah i've noticed it to. It mostly makes people aware of the other topics on the board. With a live chat its easier to do that and leave which is fine for Saturdays but doesn't really serve the other days of the week well.

I like chat, I don't really think I ever missed a chat. but I do think  the resources to the thread helps the board. So I'm for Serving the board.

Unfortunately, not many registrations. So likely just browsers. But the biggest reason is Google (up 35.95% of new users during that 2 week span)

So not really users that improve/increase the community, just added clicks.

Can you differentiate clicks from registered users, from new browsers. 

I'd think your primary KPI would be new users.

I don't have a way to differentiate clicks from registered users vs guests right now. But it's pretty clear by the numbers being up that new people are finding the forum.

Registrations are slightly up over what they've been in the past, but growing the registered users is definitely on the agenda / my number one goal. But unfortunately chat doesn't do much to help with that

Yea that was something that was really annoying.  Not everyone is watching the game on the same feed.  Some feeds are ahead of others.
