Hunter is my new roommate, my girlfriends dog who has now filled up 1/3 of the bed. We also just got a puppy, a golden retriever named Bo and I have 2 cats, Casey and Pixie.

Thank you very much! She is a Brittany Spaniel. I am hoping that she will turn out to be a good bird hunting dog. My wives family are bird hunters and I have had the joy of going hunting with them a few times and they finally gave us a dog after a lot of begging. She already has her jr. hunt test but I am not sure what all that really means, (still really knew to the bird hunting scene) but they are going to teach me how to train her, so I hope she turns out to be a good one. If not we enjoy just having a dog.

 

You have a beautiful Yorkie! My wife had a Yorkie growing up that she used to show, she still loves them.

Yea, he's a pretty good boy, never really cared for them until now. I guess they grow on you.

Been training my Brittany for a while now with a lot of help from a family member. I was able to get one of best pictures of her pointing a Bob White Quail today, I am very proud of her!!

Do you guys actually have a decent population of wild birds to hunt over there? We don't have much of anything in the county I am in. The pheasants are few and I don't think I have ever seen quail around me. The turkeys are making a comeback though.

I am still very new to the bird hunting scene, but no I dont believe there really are that many around. All that we train with and do hunt test with are put and sets.
