Supposedly the best MLB in Michigan James Ross came to ND today and received an offer. He is 6-0/215 but flies from sideline to sideline and hits like a truck.

Has offers from all the Big-10 and elsewhere. Doen't seem very big, but maybe he will fill out.

No clue where a 6-foot MLB fits in this defense.

You answered your own question. He'll play ILB, he puts on 15 lbs-20 lbs he'll be fine. Obviously, the staff saw him in person today and evaluated his frame and potential to put on good weight, must have checked out well. He is only a high school junior so there is plenty of room to grow.

Where would he play? Ray Lewis, one of the all-time great LBs in

the NFL is 6-1 -----he weights 250 now but was 215 as a jr in HS. Ross plays like Lewis.

Yesterday when he visited Ross had a buddy with him--his best friend Terry Richardson, who was offered this week also. Terry is one of the best CBs in the country. So the Bobbsey twins visited together on a nasty day----very interesting. Go Get 'Em Guys.

I'll take a short backer like Ray Lewis or Singletary or Brackett any day.
