Why? Could just be locking some guys in so they can wait on the top guys.

You're thinking back when they were first allowed under Weiss there was a limit of 3/year. But after they proved successful the limit was removed and the number quickly climbed.

You would seriously have a 9 or 10 confidence about ANYTHING a teenager would do?

Remember that the rules are different in a coach's first year (which this off season was). Next year will be what to watch.

What offensive players would come? The only openings on offense are RB and OL which came this weekend and Carter Nelson who is coming the 9th. There just aren't that many spots left.

So the first team to offer a player is always wrong? You can never find a player that others missed or were slow playing?

What I heard was that current OL coach thought he was a guard and we are kind of full there.

Go the Drew Pyne route. Prepare to be the backup and see how it plays out while you get your degree, then reevaluate next spring.

Gallagher was a stud basketball player who's team made a deep tourney run. So his recruitment is just getting started.
