  1. Thanks guys. We've been camping ever since the season ended. The plan is to hit them hard this summer. We'll probably be going to a few MAC camps. Last year he really enjoyed the ND Lineman Challenge Camp. It was a great experience!
  2. Hey all, longtime member but don't post often. I appreciate this forum and group. I love being able to read and relate to other hardcore Irish fans. That being said, I'd like to share my son's achievements from this past season on the football field. My son, Cam Fravel is a 6'-2" 195lb DE from Indiana. He's a 15 year old sophomore and a 2 year varsity starter of a back to back to back state runner up team. I'm trying to help him reach his goal of earning a D1 scholarship with the ultimate goal being ND. I thought I'd share his highlights (if the moderator allows) and ask for any insight or help from the Irish community to help him make it to D1 football. Does anyone have any learned lessons from the recruiting process with their boy or even themselves? Or do any of you have connections to programs? Appreciate any help and Merry Christmas. 2023 Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/v/2Mnpei 2022 Highlights: http://www.hudl.com/video/3/15007718/63e40516d21b4506041a23a9 https://www.hudl.com/profile/15007718/Cameron-Fravel

  4. I had myself a special day yesterday. IMG_5152.mov ?

These are my two boys. Future Irish teammates God willing.
  6. High school: Played D-End, Middle Linebacker, and Right Guard. Also played on all special teams. State champs 2000 Also played 2 years in the MFL with the Adams County Patriots, I decided to take a year off when my wife got pregnant with our first. That year the patriots won the National Championship. I tried to get back into it, but the doc says I now have arthritis in my knees at 27 years old. Awesome. Random Fact: Tonight I took my oldest son, who just turned 2, to the hospital for his first set of stitches.
  7. Another Free Rivals Article: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=829032 The California crew spent Monday morning before drills debating what team would come on top if they faced each other. The debate quickly turned heated, until a calm and cool Carroll walked up to everybody and told them, "our school has money, and we'll come and play you guys anytime, anywhere." Cierre Wood said he would take Carroll up on that challenge. So don't be shocked if we see a Los Angeles Cathedral vs. Oxnard Santa Clara scrimmage this fall some time. I'm loving this guy already. Our team needs this attitude period.
  8. Josh Smith in the 2000 Class A State Championship. We won the game and kept him from breaking the National High School Scoring Record. He finished his senior year at Attica with 3004 rushing yards. He went on to be a force at Navy and was team captain 2 or 3 years there.
  9. Thanks a lot guys. I really thought that 99% of the people on here were really cool, I guess not. All I wanted to do was give props to my bro. Then he gets shots thrown at him and I step in to defend and we both get ridiculed. Some of you are real class acts. Thanks. Back to Blanton.
  10. "he's probably 4 feet tall too.. no offense but bench pressing is wayyyyyyyyyyyy overrated." Nope, sorry. He's 6'-2". I realize that bench press max isn't everything, but my 16 year old brother can do 350, and I'm DAMN proud of him.
  11. Sorry guys, I just read how you were talking about bench press max's for high school kids. My little bro just benched 350 lbs on his last day of his sophomore year. He's 16 years old and weighs 185, and he hasn't touched a suppliment or steroid. - Had to brag him up.
  12. PLEASE tell me we are going after this guy with everything we have.
