Thanks for putting that list together.. Glad to see Jarrett Patterson making Houston. I'm a Lions fan so it's nice seeing a few on the roster. The Okwara Brothers flash alot but seems like they're always hurt. Days might be numbered. Brock Wright played great for the Lions last year. Hoping that continues. I was livid when Mayer was there in the draft and they passed on him and picked LaPorta from Iowa. F'in Lions. Damn it man. With that being said the Laporte kid looks good.

102: Hell yes. I remember doing all that and then some. I can remember the old man having a softball tournament in a town close by....my mom was a nurse so she's working and us kids just running around whatever town with like 5 bucks buying big league chew and mountain dew in a glass bottle. Not a care in the world. No big deal. My old man saying check the tournament board so you know when we play and you'll know when to be back. Too easy. Damn....shit was so much nicer then. Guaranteed I put like 6 to 10 thousand miles on my bike with no issue. Hitting up buddies houses or riding around the lake swimming or fishing. Being kids. I also remember though when I f'd up. It wasn't cool. Respect and telling the truth and / or owning up to your behavior was a thing. It was nobody else's fault but yours. Ownership. It's unfortunately missing any more. I'd like to see the first half our offense and defense play like a top ten team and hang at least 31 on them and give up nothing. The second half I'd like to see our 2nd string come in and play the exact same offense and defense. Not some let up take your foot off the gas bullshit. Run the offense like the score was 0-0. The defense the same type of thing. Bring in the 2's and run the exact same D as if the 1's are in. I'd like to see a completely different second half then what we're accustomed to seeing when we're up on a team. Don't run the 2's in and be completely vanilla patty cake bullshit. F that. Run it like we should. See what we have. Bury them and move on to the next. No mercy. I'm over seeing teams come into our house thinking they have a chance. I've got a couple buddies coming over. One is bringing jalapeño poppers. My wife is gonna whip up some queso dip. I'll fire up the smoker and throw on a chuck roast for some "burnt ends". I'm just going to assume they'll be a sausage or two that find there way into the smoker. While the smoker is fired up I'll put a turkey breast and sirloin roast in which I'll slice up for lunch meat at a later date. There definitely will be mega beers consumed. Super pumped!!!

Appreciate the discounted rate. It's not so much the $225 for the ticket. It's the $2000+ in flights plus meals and hotel. Not even including the amount I'd spend on Guinness. If it wasn't for all that....I'd jump all over it.

Flew into Dublin once on the way home from Iraq. We were allowed one Guinness. It was glorious. Contemplated going AWOL. Before I could put a plan together we were back on the plane headed home so it worked out.
