Oh the short memories on this board. Doesn't anyone remember all the complaints in the first few games about Smith, slaughter Motta out of position. Wht about all the bad angles, what about the biting on the play action (for a safety - embarrassing). Most of that is gone now. Why? Because of the coaching that Martin has put in. It takes a season to develop players and change their instinct. All good defenses take a year or two to put in place, and that's because it takes time to change instinct.
Also, what about the injuries this year. We were down to two safeties early on. We need depth. I don't want to go thru that again.
Also, weren't we saying about three games ago that Harrison played the best game of his career? What about this one now?
I would say he WAS average at best. I would say he's developing into a good safety, and if he stays, he could be a drafted safety. Yes, you heard it here. drafted.
So he needs to stay for us and for him.
