I was there too. They did a lot of cut blocking, but the blocks that killed us were their OL blowing our DL 2 yds back on almost every play. Our LBs couldn't get away from our DL, much less the blockers from Navy. There was nothing dirty about Navy kicking our butts in the trenches...

I'll be at the game, but I don't know that I'll be able to meet up. My college roomie is there and he's planning a tailgate for us.

My thoughts exactly -- like a Marc Edwards or a Mack Strong type player. I'm not sure he'll be drafted, but he should make a roster.

Heading out Wednesday for NYC. Excited for the first college game in the new Meadowlands. I think our Defense will be the key to this one. I expect a similar result to this week. ND 42 - Navy 24

Irish follow same game plan as last week, but Pitt executes better than BC. ND improves their offensive timing at home. As a result... ND 41 - Pitt 24

Been there! I had to go to a wedding and BOTH the bride and groom were ND grads! Needless to say we had periodic intel updates throughout the ceremony and we were late to the reception. I had a beautiful fall wedding myself, but strategically chose a bye weekend!

I expect a similar game plan from last week. Stop the run, make the QB beat us. Pitt is better at QB though. ND has another week to iron some wrinkles, plus is at home. That adds up to... ND 41 - Pitt 24

Millen has gone from spotting on NFL games to doing the 4th most important NCAA game on ABC/ESPN on saturdays. Before long he'll be doing ESPN's High School coverage.

Watching Dayne on Saturday I was very frustrated because he was still very out of sync with both Rudolph and Floyd. Then I remember it is only his 5th game of his first year in a brand new system. He's progressing well and if they clean up the little mistakes and get into a better rythm by the end of the season they could be on an offensive tear.

BC is down and ND is frustrated. I feel an eagle beat down coming... Maybe I'm an optimist, but I'm going to say 35-17 Irish.
