Jalen McMillan is the best player out here in my area. He is a freaking beast. Hope we get a local boy out there. He is about 45 mins down the road.

He is past his prime. Still a great coach. If he thinks coaching at TOSU is bad for his health he sure isn’t coming to ND. I wanted him 15 years ago. I wanted him 8 years ago, but not now.

As expected. Next years game just got a little easier.

I think that the top end talent and overall depth on the defense is the real key to all of this. I truly believe that we are On The verge of a Renaissance of the golden years. I believe that 10 wins will be the base line for the next 5 years. We are talking about a dominant front 7 from the likes we may have never seen. QB top end talent and depth is something that reminds me of USC 10 years ago. 4-5 star after 4-5 star waiting in line for their shot. I believe we will have one of the top O lines and D lines in college football. This thing is going to be plug and play!!!!

I feel like this is not going to be for the next couple games as much as it’s going to be for spring and next year. I think that he will make a position change and this will be to try to keep, 1. A very good athlete on the team and 2. To keep a really good teammate on the team.

I thought I read something that he is signing in February because he hasn’t taken all his visits.

It would be great to get time in our preparation for the post season to get Michael Young some meaninful reps to at least have that vertical threat out there to take the top off the defense.

I 100 % agree! The board used to be better in its infancy. It was a tight nit group in the 05- 06 group. Many people that werea Mainstay are gone now. But like anything it changes, sometimes for the best and sometimes for the worst. I agree this is the best board regarding Nd football imo. We are 11-0 and forget what happened a the rest of the season, the future looks bright! We have so much depth and Like I it or not Kelly has this thing as close to plug and play since the Holtz years. So enjoy the first back to back 10 win season since 92-93. I believe that no matter what people will find something to complain about. Man we just manhandled and embarrassed on of the nations best offenses, and people are complaining about our red zone offense. We left a bunch of points on the board yesterday, and still scored 36. Enjoy the ride... it’s been a long time coming. Life is short and this might be last last season that some of us will see the Irish. You never know... so hold up a glass for the 11-0 Irish!

The depth is only getting better with the group we have coming in 2019. Nana, Spears, Lacey and company!

At the end of 2016, I was one of the biggest in the fire Kelly group. What I have seen is a coach that realized he needed to change. Made the right changes and except for one Miami game has had his teams ready to play. He made three excellent hires elko, long, and lea. The team has never played harder and looks like it is finally having fun. He has built quality depth all over the place. The 2019 recruiting class is loaded with top end defensive talent. He has this thing running. I feel like this is the new ND and this will be the rule and not the exception. I would lock up chip long and Clark lea for the long run with maybe coach in waiting title or back up the brinks truck to keep them before they get head coaching jobs. So I will say, thank you coach for making the right choices and bringing back Notre Dame to their rightful place.
