Is anyone worried about Botelho? The last two crystal balls (months ago) came in for Washington after he pledged to ND.

It would appear ND has been upfront with Marist (and perhaps Bertrand and or others) that numbers are tight and that they will need some spaces to open up to enroll this year. He is almost 18.....and still two and a bit years left of high school? Any chance he declares early / for 2019?

What is confusing to me is I thought per NCAA rules you could not actually go on an official visit until "You may begin to take official visits starting the opening day of classes, in your senior year of high school. You must also be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center before you will be able to start taking official visits." Now....I guess if he is an EE does his "senior year" start in the spring? This is also considered Hunter Spears "Official Visit".....not sure what the rush is for these two young men...planning on re declaring for 2018?

I know he is leaning Irish but an Official visit in April? Anyone worried that is a long time between April and signing day and his official visit will not be for a game or fall weekend?

You do realize he is only a Sophmore....some kids grow late...some kids do not do the camp circuit....other kids actually show up for a camp at the University and throw for the team...and earn an offer. This is July 2017...this young man at the earliest will not be expected to play for three years! Likely 4 or more! It is a crapshoot either way but the fact he came and earned a committable offer (whatever that means this far out) says something more than some internet poster spouting off.
