  1. Good article....obviously Brian left ND with some talent....Marcus is adding to it...time will tell. Still think with either we have missed out on those 5 stars ND needs to really compete to win a Championship and not just appear in one.  I do however think if ND gets it's act together with NIL then we will have a chance.

  2. Graduate from ND...compete.   If he is any good he would be the leader in the clubhouse to start in 2024 and if not transfer and play a couple more years potentially somewhere else.  He is one snap away from being the starter in 2023.

Just saw an update that they're hoping to start interviews by next week and currently conducting phone calls.

Technically it says mid to late week...which I take to mean this week.  We will see but if someone has interest better now than later for the interview.   Knowing ND it may take a few weeks to be "official"

All is not lost. Rather have him take his time than flip. No reason to be upset about a kid wanting to at least hear what the national champs have to offer.

Honestly I would take my visits.  I would get it out of the way early enough but why turn down steakhouses, nice hotels and co-eds?

Funny because that’s what I thought may happen all along with a place like ND. If you are that close to an ND degree why would you transfer for playing time. Excellent way for ND to go about.
Can walk-ons play with out a scholly?
It be interesting if ND could convince guys to stay, lose out on your scholly((NIL Im sure would pay for tuition), AND still be on the team as a walk-on. Is that even possible?  Talk about Grey-shirting or whatever.

Interesting take and why not?  We have a guy like Powlus on scholarship even though he would be eligible for free tuition anyways.  What I think NIL will do is make your team better by keeping mid to late round picks a year longer as they have the opportunity to make similar money. Hartman assuming he would be drafted in last round (think Brock Purdy) would make $78,000 guaranteed...and then say total of $800,000 if you make and stay with the team all year.  Hartman likely makes more at ND this year thus the reason he is here.
