  1. I want to see the defense continue to dominate. That has been the constant this year and its great to see. I also want to see our WRs get more separation. I know they were down some guy's last week, but it looked like a totally different offense for most of the game. Also intrigued by Eli Raridon. What say you?
  2. I thought the defense played great. There were some missed tackles but overall, they were more than solid. The WR's need to get separation. I am still waiting to see "the star" that is Tobias Merriweather. I want him to succeed so badly but am not seeing it.
  3. Crazy. Hartman is bound to miss some. I just want to see the ball in Tyrees hands in spece more.
  4. Yeah I don't get why he wasn't on the field more this past weekend.
  5. I get that 100% but with his skill set, we don't need him to break tackles. He can make people miss and when in the open field can gain chunks of yards in a hurry.
  6. I have been a Chris Tyree guy for a few years now. I wanted so badly for him to get the ball more as a RB a couple of years ago, even last year, because he is so dynamic in space. Its no different now. I feel he needs to be more involved in the offense. The guy makes plays over and over, especially in space. I love seeing the freshmen get their playing time but I feel Tyree is being under utilized. Get him the ball, especially in space. I have been impressed with the offense this year but it can be even better. Get this guy the ball please 🙂 OK, rant over
  7. Dang she makes a real good point. I love Freemans aggressive nature but she is right, take the points in big games, especially early.
  8. @OFan Welcome to the board sir and I mean this with no disrespect but that "Ohio vs the world" comment is a joke. Thats all. Have a great day sir 🙂
  9. I dont think we will see that happen again. Its one of those things that cant happen again
  10. I personally want to see how the players and coaches respond to a tough loss. Lets face it, 11-1 probably gets us a ticket to the show and possibly a rematch with OSU. Hartmans leadership will be tested. Its easy to lead when you are dominating opponents but coming off a tough loss, how will he get the troops fired up? Same goes for the entire coaching staff. This won't be a cakewalk by any means. I want the boys to get back at it and control the lines. I want to see confidence and execution. This team is solid. I expect a double digit win this week. What say you?
  11. I agree 100%. We usually walk away from these games feeling like ND should not have even been on the same field as the opponent, but this felt different. The improvement to me is obvious so that's really nice to see. The 10 man thing at the end was a mistake no matter how you look at it. By no means does it define Freeman or this staff. Im still all In!. 11-1 Go irish!
  12. I see this team rebounding and winning this week by double digits.
  13. Absolutely all of this! I work with a couple and they have made the comments sound so un-biased but the under tones are deafening!
  14. For me, it's a win. I don't care if its ugly, I don't care if it's a blowout, I don't care if we win on fake pick play, I don't care if they call pass interference on them in the end zone for us to punch it in late..... I just want to WIN. What say you?
  15. Man I like all of these but I have to go with my man @97domer The O-Line needs to play its best game. If they do...Estime will produce. If they do...Hartman will have time and will shred the OSU D. If they do--The WR's and TE's will find open spaces. The offense will feed off of what the Oline can do.
  16. An interesting conversation came up in a podcast I was listening to yesterday. Do you think an offense needs to have that alpha dog WR to be successful or would a group a very good, not elite, WR's be just as successful? I don't mean against inferior opponents... I love the way our WR's and weapons are being used by Parker and Hartman. To me, it makes the job of opposing DC much harder when you can't zero in on one target. In order to do that though, you need big time QB play. The last few seasons we had to go to the well way too often in Mayer because we didn't have the QB to spread it around. This year is much different with Hartman under center. I guess for me the short answer is you don't need that alpha dog at WR, you need it at QB. if you have an elite QB then either situation, when it comes to the WR corp, could be successful. What say you?
  17. For me I want to see the youngsters continue to get reps and the backups (Angeli and Minchey especially) to get alot of snaps after a dominant first half. I also want to see focus on the players and coaches on this game and not looking ahead to the game against OSU. What say you?
  18. I want to see alot more of the same. O-Line setting the tone and the D staying stingy. Other than that I want to see how the young bucks perform in their first true road game. I have been pleasantly surprised by the freshmen and see big things in the future for them. What say you?
  19. It is an interesting question and you can go a few different ways but for me its down to two guys 1 - Kyle Hamilton. Pair him with the Elite Corners and this defense is scary. Elite cover corners can sometimes hide a weak pass rush and even make that pass rush better. 2 - Jaylon Smith (Before Injury) - He was a difference maker but in my opinion wasnt used to his full potential. The dude would have been a force had he done more blitzing than covering.
