I want to see a blowout early so we can see the young guys play on offense. Mainly at the QB position. Hartman deserves to and needs to start every game the rest of the way in my opinion. He has struggled of late, but he is still the best option at QB. Would also love to see a lot of youth on defense even early when the game is not out of hand. This team has a lot of talent and I would really like to see them get real game reps. What say you?

I can understand that for sure. I think these guys need more than a year or two to prove themselves honestly. Lets let them get a full recruiting class in too That will help with their own philosophy

Lets also not forget how much the offense needed and relied on Freshman and first time WR's. I know they are talented and all that but to get thrown in the fire as much as they did cant be easy. A while back I posted in here what would we rather have in a WR corps, 1 go to with complimentary pieces or a bunch of guys who can make plays with no number1? I was leaning towards being able to spread the ball around without a number 1 but my mind may have changed. Give Hartman a true number 1 WR (Evans had a great year but i dont qualify him as a #1) and things could have maybe settled better? I don't know, just a thought or theory. It will get better, I am confident in that. Dont ask me to explain why, just a gut feeling. Yeah thats what I will roll with HAHA Go Irish!

Play calling has been head scratching at times. Parker is a first year OC so Freeman has to ask himself, will he improve with the year under his belt, or do I need to look elsewhere? I would be OK with him getting some more time, especially if we roll with a QB currently on the roster. There is something to be said about keeping a group together so they can grow together but I also understand, Parker has to improve so the group can improve. In the end, if Freeman wants to give Parker more time to grow and improve, I would be ok with it. At the same time, I am ok if he feels he needs to look elsewhere. I am still all in on Freeman Go Irish

I am interested in the LBers too. i didnt realize JD could come back. I really want to see what we have in the young LBers but if JD came back, I wouldnt hate that either.

Estime is another question mark in my opinion. I mean , the dude is ready and I think will be a good pro but is he going to declare? That social media post makes me think he leans toward returning. Something to the effect of "I will worry about the Doak award and a National title next year, right now have to keep working" I think it would do Tyree and ND very good for him to return. he could be a dynamic WR but needs more time at that position.

Agreed. Would love to see this team dominate the rest of the way and into the bowl game. Recruits already love Freeman, throw in a team on the rise and who knows where that could take them.

I love watching this defense play so I am looking for them to dominate again. Clemson's offense doesn't really look too scary to me so it should be another dominating performance. On offense I want to see them prioritize getting the playmakers involved, mainly Tyree. The dude is a highlight reel waiting to happen every time he touches the ball. What say you?

I want to see the coaching staff keep this group motivated. That wont be easy but it would say alot about the staff overall, especially Freeman. ND can still go 10-2 technically and get to a major bowl which keeps them on the map and keep recruits interested. I want to see ND become the giant slayer this week and take down a top team and rival. The excitement in me for ND saturdays are still there and I cant wait to watch them play this week. GO IRISH!

I can't say I would be surprised if we beat USC. I may be off on my thinking, but we now become the slayer instead of the giant. The pressure is kind of off to win every week since its assumed the playoff is a pretty much unattainable goal at this point. I would love to beat USC, this team is good enough to do it. I still really like this team. it was a bummer against Louisville but I still can't wait to watch them play every Saturday. Go Irish!

I agree. I really like this team alot and think they have what it takes to compete with anyone.
