It is kind of funny when people are all about the coach, and pay no mind to the team, situation, or school. I'm sorry but beating Bama at LSU isn't the same mountain to climb, IMO, as beating him at ND. Now, credit to Kelly as I didn't know til after the game this weekend that he only had like 39 kids on scholarship when he took the job, after all the fallout and stuff.
That is NOT an easy row to hoe, and he just beat Bama. But that doesn't really have anything to do with ND or what he did or didn't do at ND.
At some point, *someone* will always find something to complain about or nitpick. ND just got their best victory in 20 years - maybe not against the best team? But it was a convincing, thorough, unambiguous beatdown and we were physically superior to a team that should have at least been on the same level in that regard. No lucky bounces, no timely calls by the ref, no miracle catches or throws. We abused them and imposed our will on a very good, even if not elite, team, in prime time, when all the pressure was on ND to make a statement.
I'm still on cloud 9, and I can't stop, won't stop.
