Last year Philadelphia did something similar where they had a vote to name the public restrooms, but they didn't take the fun route with the final choice.

Ok sticking my chest out here. I used to argue all the time that Kelly sucked as a recruiter and everyone always blamed academics, weather, girls etc. I called bs and always reference Weis was able to still recruit high talented recruits regularly with an even crappier team. 
Freeman just proved my point. And…and…this is during NIL which is even more difficult. I can’t imagine Kelly trying to navigate with NIL at ND. We would be 3 Star U. 
 

I joined in 2021 so can't speak about the years before the 2020 season. Since I've been a part of Domer Domain, most of the comments I remember regarding Brian Kelly as a recruiter were that it was one of his weakest areas, he was generally not very good at it, and/or he didn't make enough effort.

That's what has me most excited regarding Freeman. He feels like a guy who will go that extra mile to make players feel wanted, valued, and is the type of coach you want to play for. I'm eagerly waiting to see the fruit of his labors in this department. What @tneun89 shared above matches exactly how I've felt Notre Dame's recent recruits have been.

The dark theme option I was using wasn't officially supported and stopped working with a recent update, so I had to remove it. It will be back, fully functional and officially supported, with the update coming next year.

As mentioned, there's a very old dark theme in the footer, but I haven't touched that in ages. It'll probably feel like you stepped into a time machine.

Notable Changes:

1. Removed the old homepage, making the site default to the forums page.
2. Restructured the forums/new homepage to give an at-a-glance view of everything in one place.
3. I cut down the board to 3 contained forums where subforums are grouped
   • Forums - Notre Dame Football - Additional Athletics - Off Topic
   • Message Board view - Contains everything, similar to the previous layout
4. I updated the navigation to reflect the changes

A Quick Update:

The big update isn't coming until 2024, but I need to move some things around in preparation. Since the changes I'm working on now are navigation-related, I can't do them behind the scenes without putting the site into maintenance mode. I'd rather leave the site open, so expect to notice a few changes here and there. 😉

Icon Squares - I have a fix in place that should take care of it until the site upgrades rollout.

iPhone App - @Baldy, I honestly don't know where to start with this one. There's not much I can do with the iPhone app since the app is just running the website through a standalone app/shortcut. I don't have an iPhone to test it on either.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing it? And if you haven't, can you give that a go and report back?

I've been having the hollow squares as well. Thanks for reporting and that's something I'm looking into.

Thanks, @FaithInIrish Forever, that means a ton to me! I really look forward to everyone's thoughts when the updates are ready next year and I'm hoping the site runs even better, but more importantly offers the best user experience you all have ever seen in an online community.
