"In Freeman (I Still) Trust" for now, but it may get harder & harder as the days go on here. I know other teams are having guys hit the portal right now too obviously, but I have no idea if their #'s are on par w/ours or if ours are kind of excessive. I sure didn't like hearing a guy who has some team connections say last night that he wouldn't be surprised if at least one "really big name" from the team also exits, as in, we might be thinking more of "the sky falling" if that happens. So for now, I'm reserving judgement on the big picture till more things unfold, but this is a bit rough to watch right now.

I know it's late but also successfully watching the game flawlessly on Pac12 app signed in under Fubo

If my Pac 12 Now app doesn't work, I'll be quickly upgrading, but it looks like I'll be good to go using the app, signed in w/my Fubo acct

...although I think a person can also just add the Sports Plus package for free during their trial which adds all the Pac 12 channels.

I think I goofed too and signed up for the Pro plan and don't see it coming up on the 1 Pac12 channel in my guide....however, I got the Pac12 app and signed up using my Fubo credentials, and I see the game as an (supposed) unlocked event coming up at 7:00, so I *hope* I have it that way.

I don't know how many more chances they can give Tobias. He ain't got the "it" factor, so we gotta move on

I think it's pretty clear that Freeman has to demote him & go get the best available....and the top brass better fvcking support him. I'm also ready to just take our growing pains w/an in-house QB in '24 and only use the portal for QB depth

Love the Sam run. There's really no reason to not use that at least a bit. He is perfectly capable of making plays happen....another dimension on offense we need to utilize. Also, IMO, need to sometimes get the pocket moving rather than having Sam stand back there straight drop back

Totally agree on offense. I'm a bit disappointed that we haven't seen more of the creativity right off the bat. Parker & the rest of the brain trust have to dial up some diff stuff here

Herbie insinuated the same thing this morning. The biggest overall talking point going in to this game has been that OSU has the more "talented" roster, but Sam may be the neutralizer for us. That's really it. For gawd sake, does Day not know his team is fvcking favored?

God, I hate to see it. I live in Ohio & you can imagine the amount of vitriol I have for that team.

I can't imagine any reason why we won't come out like caged animals...the motivation is baked in. I think Freeman could basically walk in the locker room, look at the guys, say "Let's go," walk out, and they'll be on fire. My only concern is containing those emotions as to not allow stupid penalties. As we know, we have a few guys who can let their emotions draw them in to undisciplined play.

I always used to refute that notion and say that they actually DID want an elite/championship football team even though they may not publicly state it. But when you see & hear some of the stuff Father Jenkins has said about the football program, I agree with the fact that they really only want "good enough." There's an article from a few years ago with Father Jenkins clearly spelling out how he feels about the school's relation to its football program, which is basically that he does NOT want people to firstly think of the football team when they hear the name Notre Dame.
