    It has been a while since we've seen an inspiring performance like that. Fun game to watch! I know they kept talking about TT's defense will smother us, but I am curious to see how we do. Pound it low to Atkinson and then open it up around the perimeter. It's a good time to be playing well. They've bounced back nicely from a rough end to the season.

    Those were two pretty good teams. It would have been nice to see Rutgers in the tourney, as I think they would have done some damage. We took some punches at the end, but had a little luck o the irish and pulled it out. It seemed like Rutgers kept hitting daggers, but we kept making key plays to counter. How's this for getting screwed though. Late game on Thursday in Ohio, then have to fly to San Diego for your next game. What the hell was the committee thinking with that scheduling.

    We have a terrible seed. Rutgers is tough, then Alabama will kill us if we get past Rutgers. It is a slight slap on the face, but I actually do not think we are that good. We showed by laying an egg vs FSU and then coming out flat vs VT (even though they won it all) that we are mediocre and have been winning with smoke and mirrors vs a weak ACC. We do have a good class coming in next year, but I do think Brey has lost it.

    The girls laid a massive egg today on a big stage. We only ended up losing by 20 or so, but at the end of the1st quarter I think it was 35-3 - yes 3. I am going to chalk this up to a relatively young coach/team not being mentally prepared for such a big game.

    They played well. SU made several runs, and we were able to hold them off. There was a point under the 5 minute mark that I thought we were done for, but we managed to make a couple stops and hit some key buckets. Atkinson was a beast. Laz was hot.

    It is almost hard to believe. It is true that the ACC is down, but still to be in first place is impressive. We have the pieces to be very good.

    Funny. Seems like he is enjoying it. It is kind of corny how he is playing up to the students, but it seems to be working.

    I think they listened to the hype. I was getting frustrated with the D. Atkinson was getting smoked 1 v 1 in the paint and we did not change up. Sadly, we make a couple of free throws and the game might have ended differently.

    Yes. This is very confusing. I guess just proven depth, although his percentage was not stellar.

    It was nice to see them work through some adversity at the end and actually pull out a close win. If they can play with that intensity every game, we could turn this around. Maybe Phonz has to be the new coach.

    We looked like garbage last night vs BC. Just totally dominated. This doesn't bode well. It is really hard to determine what is going on other than just lack of hustle. We have talented players.

    I think it would be great if Polian stays. He has great experience. He would be the only one that we have not heard from that i think is critical.

    I actually think the staff changes were great. We've suffered from some poor recruiting after this current senior class (which has underperformed). The current Freshmen class and next year's class will make up for it, but that void hurt - not having any Juniors and then the sophomore class being underwhelming. PA was a great transfer. Wertz and Ryan are OK, too, but don't really give us anything different than the 4(3) in the senior class.

    I didn't see the game, but it seemed like we were up late, too. Noie indicated the loss was due to lack of effort towards end due to short bench?

    It's interesting to be that Bramblett would transfer, unless he really just was focused on some graduate degree he couldn't get at ND. Glad we have the next man in.

    I honestly didn’t notice the lack of scoring from Hubb and Laz. CSN had some big dudes. I read a preview on them. Looks like they loaded up with new coach and a bunch of transfers.
