You think I want a.Natty? Heck all I want are.a.couple of 11-1.seasons. Or w.couple of 10-2.seasons. Heck, I'd be happy with a couple of 9-3 seasons at this point but we NC ant even get that. I hardly think that makes me unreasonable. I guess some people are just content with 7-5 and 8-4.

Let's be honest here. As long as the money is rolling in and the graduation rate stays high and the kids stay out of trouble, the administration is happy.

And here lies the great divide among Notre Dame fans. Those who want ND to keep doing things the way they did over 50 years ago and those who want ND to modernize the way they do things and acknowledge the importance of the football program and act accordingly, rather than be ashamed of it. The former used to dominate 90-10. Its about 60-40 now.
