I’m worried they’re prioritizing Prescod over Lambert. Hiestand might be a great developer but he’s not a great recruiter. He really botched the LT position when he stopped recruiting Freeling after he got Page. It feels like he’s more concerned about signability than working harder to get the best prospect.
IDC what you tolerate. The hard truth is you don’t win Titles with players like Brown & Henderson. You guys can’t have it both ways. You can’t have a soft spot for below avg players and expect to win a Title.
It’s not great, but it is what it is. This is the NCAA’s fault for dragging their feet for decades instead of giving in a little and allowing the players to earn legitimate $.
Singer said he felt Hayes was a Florida lean. Maybe this weekend will change things. TBH, I wish ND could only take the higher rated Smith Brother but they’re 100% a package deal.
They’ll get the twins, but I’m feeling Hayes to Florida. They really need Scott and Lindsey plus one more Edge Rusher. Lindsey is listed as an Edge, but no way he plays there in college.
QB is a far different skill level than Punter. Max Duggan from TCU should be the top transfer choice. He’s not projected to be a high round pick. Sam Hartman would be choice 1B.
I honestly don’t know how much recruits focus on record. I think they want to be certain that projecting forward, the team is in good shape, but IDK if finishing 6-6 will scare off that many kids. Texas did get Arch Manning after going 5-7
The names Loy put out a few weeks ago were awful. I was never high on Avery Johnson but I’d take him in a heart beat over the likes of Cal Swanson, Zane Flores, or Luke Ruecker. Ruecker is a 2* ffs.
