    You're thinking back when they were first allowed under Weiss there was a limit of 3/year. But after they proved successful the limit was removed and the number quickly climbed.

    What offensive players would come? The only openings on offense are RB and OL which came this weekend and Carter Nelson who is coming the 9th. There just aren't that many spots left.

    What I heard was that current OL coach thought he was a guard and we are kind of full there.

    Go the Drew Pyne route. Prepare to be the backup and see how it plays out while you get your degree, then reevaluate next spring.

    Gallagher was a stud basketball player who's team made a deep tourney run. So his recruitment is just getting started.

    What did you want him to do? He is waiting on Moore. Should Reese have just given up on Moore and pushed for Arnold? Wouldn't you then complain about not getting, or even trying for, our top guy?

    Buchner was a stud recruit. You said we should get 1 stud recruit every 2 years. If you are only going to judge by hindsight your standards are unrealistic. And as for 2023, the issue with 2022 was he was late in evaluating and offering. You can't say that about 2023. So, no, the results aren't yet better, but the process is. So why the knee jerk reaction based on 1 recruiting class?

    And we got Buchner last year. So if we are meeting your standard, what's your problem? Rees has said he screwed up QB recruiting in 2022, he is doing much better in 2023, and he proved his chops by being the lead recruiter for half the offensive class this year. Why don't we cut him some slack and revisit this next year?
