Thumbnails within forums aren't something many try to incorporate, but I'm trying to enrich the experience. Now that they've been around for a bit, would you mind responding to the poll with your thoughts, and feel free to drop feedback if you have any. I personally like them, at least on desktop, but I'm just one person. I'd like to see how the majority of you feel about it. Thank you!

That's how it works out of the box and changing it up too much only to undo it in the future would only cause more confusion. Almost all new thread topics are made using the 'Start New Topic' button that's found on every forum page, but I agree on the good today before tomorrow front, but I also need to make sure it's a good tomorrow as well, when we get there. I do think you're right though and if it was worded better, it might be used a bit more. I reworded it to New Post instead of Create since that can cover Topic Post, Blog Post, Etc. Let me know if you have any other ideas, and thanks @FaithInIrish Forever. Edit: The alternative I was thinking was "New Content" since it is a wider range of coverage. Let me know if you have feedback there.

A few updates on a few things, which will continue to see tweaks and adjustments leading up to the season. I added Tagging Guidelines to the Recruiting Forum I undid a few of the changes previously made on the forum view, mostly due to the amount of scrolling required on Mobile. I hid topic thumbnails on mobile, as well as a few other elements like date started. I needed to make too many compromises to get thumbnails to display well on mobile, so I'm going back to the drawing board to see if I can make something work without compromising the desktop experience. Cut down the bottom mobile links to 3 (Forums / Home / Fighting Irish Forum) There's a lot of other things changing while I figure out what works, but the above are the main ones. Thanks again!

The issue with changing it is that it suits more than one need. It's not just Topics, but it can also be used for multiple other sections of the site. I intend on that being used if somebody makes a blog post, adds an event to the community calendar, or if an announcement needs to be made. I'm open to ideas, but it would need to be able to be used for all the of the below options as well. I can't think of anything better than the default 'Create' for this.

I think Carolina's next target is BJ Ojulari, but if he's gone and Mayer is still there, it would be hard to pass up. Not the biggest need on the team, but Mayer would be a huge piece for a rookie QB.

👀 Hope is still alive. There's a legitimate chance Tremble and Mayer are in the same locker room for at least preseason.

I still see a lot of people who think Allen is overrated, which baffles me. He's what I was hoping Cam would end up being.

After diving into the film, I've thought he was clearly the best QB of the draft for the last few months. I'm happy they didn't outsmart themselves with 'what ifs'. I can't wait for the season to start.

It's draft day! If you have an NFL team, which draft eligible ND players do you want on your squad? For me, it's the Panthers. If they land Foskey or Mayer with pick #39, I would be thrilled. Switching to a 3-4 this year, EDGE is probably their biggest need after QB (Please be Bryce).

If there isn't a clear path to start somewhere, then he'll probably return, but I'd be surprised to see him back. He's going to want an opportunity to play, and I think the writing is on the wall. It's probably best for both parties in the end.
