  1. Blair is rumored to be announcing on this birthday I think (which is July 5th)

Owusu-Baoteng does not have a leader currently and will be a long recruitment for every team.

Boggs seems to have been removed as a possibility.

Wish I knew when Faraimo was going to announce, he would definitely be a steal in my opinion; almost as big as KVA.

  2. What is also unexpected is that Talyn Taylor is scheduled to visit ND again from what I understand. I do think his interest is elsewhere and ND is running 2-4 right now.

I was kind of hoping they could pull Petty in for a late visit and blow him away, but no visit, no chance.

  3. Jalen Wiggins offer is quite interesting. Why offer a committed player, top 100 prospect, this late into the cycle if the interest from him is not already high? Has a Stanford offer and I believe he is visiting there as well, which shows he does value academics.

ND is excellent at both football and academics!!! Very interesting offer in my opinion.

  4. There is talk about Notre Dame possibly taking a 4th CB, especially if it is Haynes. However, ND is also looking at taking a 5th WR (Boggs, Meadows, Hines), a 4th OL (Petty), an additional DL (???), and a 4th LB (NOB, Mikhail, Faraimo, Nix). It may just depend on how they see those other positions playing out.

  5. Honestly, this kid should probably be considered a 5* player. The kid is a stud, puts up massive stats against EXCELLENT competition in Florida. Every single school wanted this kid. He is criminally underrated in my opinion.

This is a massive commitment for ND. He may be the most gifted player in the class regardless of who ND lands from here on out in 2025. Even if ND gets their dream finish to this class (Meadows, Boggs, Faraimo, NOB, Zachary, Haynes, and Blair), I would still consider Golden the top prospect in the class.

  6. Some are speculating it is Jalen Wiggins who is currently committed to Florida and a top 100 player. However, I have not heard the name from an actual insider or whether it is legitimate interest.

Interesting note: it does seem like he had a committable offer from Stanford and was one of his top schools at one point.

Can’t believe Estime will fall as far as he will.  He’s built for the NFL and will last for a while.  That’s what you need in a back…Bo Jackson but without the big bad bum hip…

RBs in general are just not as coveted these days because their shelf life is so small.

True, but Ford might not be back, so that should put them to 87.

Agreed, I do think Ford is gone as well. Just not subtracting him yet until it is official

With the loss of Micah Bell, Notre Dame is officially at 87 scholarships (this includes Rubio).

What happened with Lange? Was it that he didnt want to go to a crowded room or something else?

Big23head kind of mentioned the gist of it, but from my understanding, ND really only wanted 3 OL this cycle. They are looking at Josh Petty only because he is an ELITE prospect (5* material) and because he is likely a guard.

Very thorough list Big23head and I agree with all of it. I have no idea who the SEC committed player is though, it may just be smoke to get some clicks.

  10. I think ND is just a hat on the table for Alexander, haven't heard anything about him for months from the ND side of things.

James Simon really needs to be wow'd by this visit. I just do not think he ends up at ND, but if ND can do so well that they get an OV later in the year, then I will be slightly more optimistic. I do wonder what would happen if Simon did want to come... 3 RBs for the 2025 class?

It sounds like a CB transfer from Rice is visiting tomorrow (Tre'Shon Devones), and I would think they'd be potentially looking for an OT (starting caliber) and DT (depending on the Rubio and Tyson Ford situations - it sounds like Rubio plans to come back but Ford might not). So, that is potentially 3 incoming transfers (although, I'd be shocked if ND found a starting caliber OT), so they'd need about 5-6 guys to transfer out. I would bet that many transfer out.

Starting caliber OTs are quite rare in the spring transfer portal. Most players who enter the portal in the spring are ones that got beat out. I doubt there will be any OT out there worth looking at compared to what we have on the roster. 5* Lambert will be here in the Fall as well.

CB position is fine I think. Morrison will be healthy and then you will have 2 freshmen coming in with Leonard and Moore.

Rubio does look like he will return (but what shape will he be in). I am personally counting Ford as gone in my head. I think DL (whether it be interior or edge) is the only position I think ND should look into in my opinion.

  12. I would like all of those guys he mentioned in that tweet to end up at ND:

WR - Derek Meadows - ND appears to lead
CB - Dallas Golden - ND appears to lead
WR - Tanook Hines (I didnt know who this "x handle" belonged to so I opened it to see. This kid is posting almost exclusively ND / Duece Knight stuff)
S - Jadon Blair - ND appears to lead, but it is close
CB - Mark Zackary - ND appears to lead
CB - Trystan Haynes (they may take him as a 4th CB)
LB - Madden Faraimo (Ryan Roberts, on the podcast yesterday, called this recruitment eerily similar to KVA's recruitment; there is more optimism here than I originally thought. He put ND in his top 4 with only one visit to ND over a year ago. The visit this past weekend is reported to have been fantastic from every source there is. I am still hesitant as I think he will be a tough pull from the West, but I am definitely intrigued how this one plays out.)
