  1. He gone!! Supposedly to Stanford who recently offered. Man this SUCKS!
  2. BR stating its a done deal, either 5 year/$17.5mil or 6 year/$21 mil. Those are the terms showing up, not sure which is correct.
  3. probably just me, but doesn't it look like McGlinchy is pulling another of his well perfected false starts?
  4. They have their moments, just wish CJ would, or would be instructed to, call a fair catch and run up 10 yards to snag those few punts that bounce off our other players instead of trying to yell above the crowd and wave people off when they can't see him because they are too busy trying to block. His last play was a head scratcher though, just trying to do too much and experience will help correct that.
  5. well, I accidently take a little nap during the 9th inning and rain delay and wake up just in time to see them pulling off the tarp to start the 10th. Then it was hell trying to fall asleep after the post game celebration! So happy for Cub's fans!
  6. NO.... not yet.... I'm not quite done...just a few more seconds and....and... and... ugh, whew, wow! ok it can come down now. thanks for waiting, lol!
  7. Fixed this for 'ya! I also think our depth would be just fine if we had a defensive scheme/philosophy that these young players could understand. Safetys- nobody gets behind you! Corners-stick to your man like flies on **** AFTER jamming him at the line, you have 5 yards where you can abuse him, use it! Outside linebackers/defensive ends, whichever has outside containment you don't let anyone outside! DT's and middle linebackers blast anyone that comes up the middle, stop running into the mass of humanity and track the ball carrier!
  8. Been wondering about this since I saw the Texas game and how "in control" of everything he was. Does anyone know how close he is to having all of the credits needed to graduate? I'm sure finishing his degree is up there at the top of his, and his parents, list. One things for sure, if he comes back there will be an insurance policy in place in case he gets injured, just like Jaylon.
  9. You're giving him way too much credit!!
  10. sitting here trying to compare ND vs Texas to any matchups from yesterday, hoping for a Bama/USC type game, we trade blows early then start to pull away due to talent disparity. Our offense is too much for them to handle! If our defense has finally grasped BVG's scheme, we shut them down and lay it on 'em, much like last year, so 42-13! GO IRISH!!
  11. Found this quote from Sanford on another site: 12. Sanford on Zaire pushing Kizer this camp. “To be 100 percent honest and transparent, this has been a very good version of DeShone Kizer this camp, there has been absolutely no letdown in his growth. In fact the way that Malik has come back and reinserted himself physically and as a quarterback and being able to take reps, I really believe that’s truly given DeShone that competitiveness which has helped him to grow significantly.” If Kizer "has been a very good version...no letdown in his growth...grown significantly" that's all the more reason I want him as the starter. Don't get me wrong I love Maliks' skillset, but Kizer for me is the better choice.
  12. Sure does doesn't it? I knew some would reply such as you have, but consider this, I don't post enough to bother making up stories and all of my previous 100+ posts have NEVER contained any fabrications, just my views and opinions. I'm all for Kizer to be our QB as I prefer the taller qb who can see over the line at all times, not the short guy who has to wait for throwing lanes to open up. I also think Kizer has more upside and the "it" factor. 2 of the 3 guys I was talking to are Central Catholic alums, Kizers high school, and they seemed like honest stand up guys. As i said I was just passing along the conversation we had, time will tell who Sanford and Kelly choose.
  13. So, last Saturday I went to a nephews graduation get together and met some new diehard fans, 1 of which frequents a local watering hole who's owner claims to be good friends with Sanford, as in they talk on the phone. Long story short Sanford and Kelly are completely in love with Zaire's freak athleticism and appears to be leaning that way, irregardless of the accomplishments of Kizer last year. Heard this 3rd hand so keep that in mind. Being a Toledo guy, I'm all for Kizer!!
  14. "sleepover" at a recruits house, climbs a tree at anothers, oh and in the mean time, lets pull the scholarship of the 6-5" 300 # lineman who was rated 4 stars and #15 overall, and who was the first commit in the 2016 class(albeit to Hoke), and not give him a reason why! Great coach but a classless POS move on his part for doing this, less than 2 weeks before signing day when he had all season to decide if he wanted him or not! Glad he isn't coaching The Irish!
