I have been sitting here for an hour contemplating this very topic. I am leaning towards agreeing with you. I think its going to be very tough for the committee to put ND in again when it comes down to a choice between us and a conference champion. It may come down to ND joining a conference or the playoffs expanding to see ND get the nod again. But what do I know...

Um, they got rid of Orangemen and Women because of the millions of dollars that Nike is paying them. Not because it offended any group of people. But I agree if I was an oompa loompa I would be pissed to be represented by that shitbag of a university.

We're going to find out next year how great a coach he is because if he doesn't beat 2 of the 3 ND, MSU, OSU there are going to be people up there calling for his head. Wisconsin, PSU, and even Northwestern are not going to be push overs next year either.

Pretty much this... And Long is getting tired of all the drops also. On the pass Claypool dropped for a first down in the first quarter last week, the camera went to Long and you could see he was screaming "Catch the damn ball"

As a coach of course. I keep reading we need this or that coach. I am not attempting to compare BK to Coach Holtz in any way. But I was trying to remember the last time I felt this bad about a loss. And the answer I came up with was 1989. A 12-1 season that I honestly felt we were robbed of a NC. But check the score of game we lost. Not the *** whooping we took last Saturday, but if I am remembering correctly that game was never really in doubt either.

I agree, it wasn't the losing that burned me it was the way we lost. Our kids were scared. There was talk all year about ND punching people in the mouth, and then we don't respond at all when another team does it to us. Yes, that pisses me off.
