SmilingEyes 1
Here's an evaluation of how the offensive line played against Michigan on Saturday, a free article from Blue and Gold Illustrated. Not as bad as I initially thought. https://notredame.rivals.com/news/grades-notre-dame-offensive-line-vs-michigan

I haven't read the whole article but sometimes stats are misleading and some stats are left out. I mean mcglinchey's missed block versus georgia was huge. You can't simply count that as a miss. You have to consider the game situation as well.
FaithInIrish Forever 4,801
they seem to have graded it 1. Bars 2. Mustipher 3. Kraemer 4. Hainsey 5. Eichenberg I woulda flipped 4 and 5 because of the sacks, but hainsey was a better run blocker than eichenberg
Dardo 17
I seemed to me that there were a lot more than 3 hurries and that Wimbush was hit a lot more than 5 times in the pocket throughout the game. I also think I'd like to see the Oline against a team without Rashan Gary and Winovich before I say that they stink and are going to cost ND long term. hawaiiirish 62
Given the HOOPLA surrounding Michigan's front seven..." they may be the best in the country"..." they will be better then Miami was last season" etc etc I am very pleased with the play of our OLINE as i'm sure the coaches are as well. aloha

SmilingEyes 1
Here's a very detailed analysis from Michigan's perspective with lots of good video. That was a really enlightening read. The only quibble I'd have with their analysis is that the interception was caused by Claypool stopping his route, not that he was simply two-yards behind the defender. JTennant 290
I saw some missed blocks from guys bending forward.. I feel like run blocking was pretty ok the guys were mauling more but the pass pro was a little sketchy. Week 1 and won't read into it too much.
