Looking for some friendly chatter about the Irish and here is what I have to say....

Is it me, or does it still kill that we are one play away from playing in the National Championship game. One play away from Brady Quinn wrapping up the Heisman Trophy in New York...and yet these are the reasons why I love being an Irish fan...so much passion, so much what ifs, and yet, I am so prou d of our team this year and can't wait to see the Irish play great football under Weis.

hey Atlanta! nice to see ya here! I agree..one stinkin' play away...times have definetly changed and it is soooo very nice to be back amongst the elite.....lets just get these next three games out of the way and go kick some bowl butt!!! GO IRISH

Nice to see you Atlanta. I do agree. Faced a bunch of chat your 9-2 and Bowl Eligible. I just say I don't make the rules the 2 losses were 3 points one in OT one in last seconds. Still a loss.

 

I imagine if I had to be 6-2 at this point I prefer the two losses totaling 6 points not something like 42.

welcome aboard Atlanta. this is a great web-site. you don't have all the juvenile trash talk here. i know what ya mean about being so close to being undefeated. ND could have beat USC and Mich St and could have lost to Michigan so all in all I'm thrilled where ND is at. If you would have told me ND would finish 9-2 and got to the Fiesta Bowl i would have jumped for joy and that is where it looks like ND is headed so I'll take it. National Championship in 2006!
