I have no idea if this stuff is true or not so just take it fwiw. I know a coach that went to Florida's camp on Friday and here are a few things he told me...

-It sounds like Will Hill committed to Florida.

-Marcus Forston was a complete beast and ran right past 2 of his offensive linemen.

-The most underrated CB is Janoris Jenkins from Pahokee. He said he was like white on rice all night long.

-Marcus Robinson was the best player overall when you consider athletic ability for the position he plays. He also said that Robinson is not really committed to Miami even though that is what he says. I guess he tells different things to different people?

I know that there isn't much in regards to ND here, but I just decided to pass some information that was on the top of my head. If there are any specific information about Florida recruits I can try to help you with them.

I read the Will Hill thing on facebook.

Heard the same thing too. Him skipping the Seminole Showcase also leads me to believe that it is true.

The AMP piece on Rivals showed Forston straigh up owning the OL he was going up against, kid will definitely be a 5 star when they update the rankings. Too bad we don't have a shot with him, kid would start from day one for us.

why don't we have a shot with Forston? Personal opinion? Lack of confidence? Lots of ppl with much better info than me have said that they truly think its 50-50 between us and Miami. I agree its unlikely but to say 'no shot' is a little too concrete at this point.

I think Will Hill did commint to the gators. All he is waiting on is his moms ok. Him and his dad loved the trip and he said it was everything that they thought it would be. He had a conversation with Reggie Nelson and Urban Meyer. He said that UF was always #1, and if moms is cool with it, then he'll commit to UF. Sounds like a close family, so if dad says it is a good atmosphere to mom then Will Hill will be a gator before the week is over.

isnt that illegal for him to have a conversation on a recruiting trip with ex players? i smell law suit against florida

It would be if they called him up, ala Reggie Bush. Having former players on campus is not illegal, if those guys to talk to players then so be it

And lmao at MIchigan. They thought they actually had a shot at Hill

I don't mean to deflect this in a different direction, but SUNSHINE...how's your pop's doing? You all have been on our prayer table for several weeks.

Hey, thanks for asking and I probably should have posted something. He is doing very good! It wasn't cancer at all. There was something there but after they found out it wasn't cancer related he had to take another test and that came back ok. It was probably the best news possible and I am so thankful because of it. But again, thanks for asking.

I think ND has a shot at Forston but it is a long shot. I think he is interested in the ND tradition, etc but I just don't see a kid from Liberty City going all the way up to South Bend. Talk about a culture shock. But regardless, ND has done a good job on him and they at least have a puncher's chance.

Congrats on the news about your dad, always good to hear when things turn out well.

As far as Forston goes, he'd be a great addition but I'm not holding out much hope.

I thought the funny thing about Forston was on the rivals video when he ran over the OL....and I mean ran over...he just comes up to the bag and pushes it over with one hand. Shows a nice sense of humor. IMO

Sunshine, great to hear about your dad!

Sunshine, thanks for the update and I'm elated to hear your dad is going to be fine.

well i kept hope alive on Will Hill while i could, good luck to him in Florida...no more posts on him from me from here oj out Calves...at least i was correct that it would not be Rutgers, but out here that has been the scuttlebutt for about a month.

Great news SUNSHINE! I hope the whole experience makes the two of you closer, and not take time together for granted. It's nice to hear positive outcomes from things like this.

Now, send us Forston and Brown and we'll get the hell out of your state...for this year. I prayed for you...now you send us a 5* recruit. That's how this works! j/k

No worries, and I didn't mean to come off as too harsh if I did. You were right about RU... you had your info and you stood by it 'til the end. You owned what you said, and I respect that. If this were IE or some other board, I'd rep ya - despite the daily reminders. :D

As for Forston... only way we take him is as a NSD "saved you a spot" kid. There are spots to fill yet at LB, WR, RB, and OL, and I don't think we jeopardize the good standing we have with any of the prospects at those positions on Forston's behalf.

That said, it's going to continue to be much more tempting to "floor it" with the remaining prospects in this class. Baldwin, R. Williams, Sabino, Forston, Patchan, Floyd, T. Robinson... every one of those guys is a consensus top 100 player right now, and we're on the list with all of them. Beyond those guys are players who are still very talented, 4 star caliber guys, like Carlton Thomas and Jeremy Brown. When we were sitting at 14, 15 verbals it looked like it'd be easy to throw up the stop sign, and say, "We're all filled up!", but now that we're essentially sitting at 19 (just waiting for the official word from Filer), and are still in on good - no, great - prospects... its gonna be very difficult to keep it to a # like 23.
