FWIW not a mention of Michael Floyd in ANY of the categories...interesting.

It is interesting that Floyd is not on that list at all. I realize they are parsing the position by specific skills, and I have not watched the highlights of the other guys there. In watching Floyd's film, I have to say I was very impressed with his hands - they were like glue and he caught everything with his mitts away from his body. If he were in one category, I'd probably include him in that hands category.

Don't worry that Floyd wasn't on any of them...whoever put together those lists didn't know what they were doing.

 

There was no reason he wasn't on the list for after the catch, hands, and down field threat....most of his film is of him catching deep passes!!

Ya i read the one on running backs and QB's and they just seem like blanket statements and then a list of guys that everyone has already identified as some of the top prospects. Kinda lame if you ask me.

ND Fan - I agree with you and Diego - if I can spot something like that and they don't, it makes you wonder about their people doing the rankings.

It's too bad Goodman will have to play QB this year at Dwenger. He could be as polished as a frosh WR can get in 08 if he had more reps his senior year. BD has a good line though, so he should be well protected.

I agree subway, not so much because JG may get injured but just so we could have a recruit hone his skills at the position that he'll actually play at ND. Granted I realize that many times the player is the best player on their HS team and they want to get the ball into their hands as much as possible, thus they are QBs or RBs...I'm just saying tho.

Of course like eveyrone else I would love for him to play WR. But you have to like the fact he will play QB to help his team win, even if it affects his rankings and his personal gain. Got to like that.

AJ Green is going to be pissed when he finds himself a decoy in the running game. A good game for him will be 78 yards.

 

Too bad too, he is an incredible receiver. Watch for Urban Myth to promise him the world before NSD.
