No way do we pass on Trevor Robinson. Decommitting is part of the game. It is very likely that we will lose one also.

i'd be shocked if Trevor Robinson was not Irish by the end of July. the kid already knows the school.

As for Patchan, he should always have a spot left in this class. Give me a top OT over a 4 star RB or DB or LB anyday.

Calves, nice work. I forgot about that pic.

How fast until it is your Avatar? It is currently 4:07 Eastern Time. tick tock tick tock.

I made it my avatar over at GH already.

It already is over on GH, so it shouldn't be long.

Did it just because of Rock's comments. :D

Seriously though, I'm cooling it after this. Only guys who verbally commit from here on out.

i think and hope CW and staff have the mindset that while "decommitting is part of the game" when it comes to ND, it is not part of their game. wishful thinking i know, but decommitting cuts both ways.

i think Trev really screwed himself if he didnt clear it with ND to "take him back" if/when his decommit, pending ND/UM visits went public. i hate to say it but dont like if CW or ND was talking to another teams commit behind the scenes. again, i know "everyone does it", just dont want us doing it.

Treev may have a great career in south bend, but his poor family is gonna have it rough and bear the brunt after he was BIG RED commit, and then committed to us. NU is all they have down there and a local boy pulling this, well, more than likely the Robinson house is going on the market soon.

i feel bad for the kid, but he should have listened to CW: "dont commit until you are ready...its like a a marriage/engagement-can't be dating other gals once the wedding date is set."

Well in that case you might be switching again, if Dan McCarthy is announcing today.

nothing concrete here but it appears that we may be losing momentum on Danny.

What makes you say that? I think we'll get him.

Drag this chatter over to the McCarthy thread, por favor. It'd get too confusing otherwise.

I knew it!

oh this recruitng will make you nuts!

i have been saying for soo long-why hasnt he committed yet? he's irsh, his bro is here, hes been here countless times, he has the skills, he has the grades!

my gut on him always felt something not right, or would have committed, just like Filer.

bright side of if DMac is O$U: if you think about it...helps on JBrown, possibly Will Hill.

still would love a "McCarthy" at "Our Lady" i must confess.

I can't disagree with you Calves. I am probably the culprit on this one.

As you should. You da man! (bowing emoticon)

latest per Rivals, free stuff, so OK to post?

CRETE, Neb. - When Rivals top 100 offensive lineman Trevor Robinson committed to Nebraska back in April, the Omaha (Neb.) Elkhorn product said he was done with the recruiting process.

Robinson wants to be sure of his commitment to Nebraska.

The 6-foot-6, 300 pound Robinson picked the Huskers over offers from Notre Dame and Michigan, but on Tuesday Robinson informed HuskersIllustrated.com that both the Irish and Wolverines are now back in the picture.

At this point, Robinson said he still considers himself a Nebraska commit, but he wants to reconfirm his decision to NU by taking unofficial visits to both South Bend and Ann Arbor later this month.

"I'm not a de-commit," Robinson said from his dorm room at the Doane College lineman camp in Crete. "At this point I still consider myself a Husker and I want to be a Husker.

"The only thing I want to do is reconfirm I made the right decision, so that's why I'm considering taking unofficial visits to both Notre Dame and Michigan again."

Robinson said informed Nebraska offensive line coach Dennis Wagner of his decision to potentially take unofficial visits to Notre Dame and Michigan on Monday night.

Robinson said it was very hard for him to talk with Wagner on Monday and to tell him the news that he may be reconsidering his commitment.

"That was the hardest part by far," Robinson said. "I've always been excited to play for him, and I'm still excited to play for him.

"I just have some second thoughts right now, and I just want to look one last time at Notre Dame and Michigan to feel better about the decision I made."

Robinson said in the past 24 hours his cell phone has blown up, and this is something he never thought he'd have to go through in the recruiting process.

"This is really stressful," Robinson said. "Like I said, I am not a de-commit from Nebraska and I still plan to go to Nebraska. I just want to look things through and make sure I made the right decision."

Robinson said he hasn't set up unofficial visit dates with Notre Dame and Michigan yet, but he plans to iron out all the details with his father after he leaves the Doane lineman camp.

"If I visit Notre Dame and Michigan, it will be sometime in the next two weeks," Robinson said. "I still need to get things figured out more and talk with my dad before I say for sure when the visits will be."

So he needs to visit us for a sixth time?? Sounds real good to me.

ROCKNE3, Don't count out that other school, zookie might just surprize us on this kid , just a thought, it would be nice to get him . when is it going to be final ? on his decesion // WHAT SAY YOU .??? :)

IT'S OFFICIAL.

Trevor Robinson will be visiting Notre Dame and Michigan this weekend. He has informed the Nebraska coaching staff of this.

Looks like the vacation time for our coaching staff is now shot. :D

Not that i'm a closet Neb fan, but that really sux for them! I think that most of us ND fans showed some class when he did make the Neb committ. This may have helped in the long run. I hate to be a hypocrite after the whole "what'sHisName" decommit to UF though. In the long run, I hope he does what's best for him and have an open door policy before he strings out schools for too long.

I am glad Trevor is opening up his recruitement. What I don't get is if he has been to ND so many times why come one more? I understand it is between ND and Michigan. I guess my question is he heading to Michigan first then ND? My expectation is that the going to commit to ND.
