BG reported that the 5 star offensive lineman will also be heading up to ND to visit later this month...

So we'll get a feeling on that after his visit... Its part of his scheduled visits also to other schools as well.

Also hearing rumblings about Julio Jones but I am not sure but will find out more info...

That is a lot of Florida kids visiting in July... WOW is all I can say keep that snowball building...

i heard that also Army . Thanks    Let's get at least two more :)

while reading this, i was thinking the same thing. wow we have a lot of FL kids visiting around the same time or together. lets hope jeremy brown gets in their ear.

July wont be a bad month for us. Bryant, Patchan, Filer. J. Brown, McCarthy, Floyd, Sabino all visiting. Am I forgetting anyone?

Patchan is an absolute monster. I gonna throw this out there; I think he would be the best player in this class.

Can I be dramatic and say that the rest of July will be probably the most important month for ND football in awhile?

The rest of this month could determine if ND ends up with a really good class or an absolutely unbelieveable class. ND could end up with its best recruiting year ever and we'll have a better idea if that will happen later this month

you may be right indy irish...some recruitnik site/person/scout (not sure which) said a while back that Patchan was the #1 player in the country at ALL positions in 2008. Saw a quote that Patchan said "no i am not i have things to work on. etctetc" i mean geez for a lineman to get that hes gotta be special. read lots on him and thing that jums out is everyone says he is a nasty sunnuvabitch on the field.gotta love that.

For the absolute best class in history I think we need...

1. Floyd

2. Forston

3. Sabino

4. Filer

5. Patchan

6. Baldwin

and if we take 26 Add Will Hill as your surprise...

Also heard that J Brown wants to EE, So Patchan, and Sabino would give us three EE...

I also believe there will be one transfer in order to keep Mo Crum...

AA... I wasn't clear what you meant by this. Why would we need a transfer to keep Mo?

He's saying we'll take recruits over 5th years, so he'd be squeezed by a Matt Patchan, Steve Filer, etc.

How realistic of a chance do we have with Patchan?

Cwynar wants to early entry too....heard that somewhere but can't remember exactly where. Maybe Scout interview.

Is that new about Cwynar? Last I heard, a couple months back, he wasn't really sure if he wanted to EE or not. He said he was going to look at it but I didn't get the impression he was really high on doing it.

I think we might be getting ahead of ourselves penciling some pf these guys in. I am excited that all these guys are coming at the same time as J. Brown... Makes me wonder if coaches told him to put off his trip and assured him he would still have a place.

Check my post in the Jeremy Brown thread... you've got a nice theory going there, but I think it has more to do with scheduling matters of when the coaches will be available.

I'm assuming that CW is pulling some of his staff in from vacation for these kids' visits? I read that July is the 4 week vaca for the staff.

Actually Sarah, a sociology major, from Fort Wayne who works part time in the admissions dept. will give a stellar golf cart tour .

thats a great list you got army and i'd have to agree with you. i'd say ND would have the #1 class this year if it turned out to be true. CB can get it done.

I guess I set you up for a nice spike there.

I see ND possibly having a number 1 class in some publications, but I dont see a consensious number (like USC a few years back) unless we get some real shockers like A. Brown, Patchan, W. Hill, TJ Bryant kind of thing. I think we could have a top 5 with Sabino, Filer, Floyd, Baldwin and so on. But like I have said we dont have to have a number 1 class to have a great class, as long as we get good kids, that love ND, that are hard workers and of course talented and that fill needs we will be fine.
