Guys I think we made a difference. As I said despite the other garbage Phil Taylor spouted over at "Spits" Illistrated he had 6-2 Domehead, I others complained.

Rechecking the SI link he changed it to 5-2 keeping the garbage.

I checked back to Yahoo and Lead teaser still had 6-2.

Somewhat later I checked back to see if that was still teaser and the "Whloe darn article had been yanked off the Internet" by I guess SI? Although SI still has his corrected version it goes nowhere else at this point in time.

Notre Dame Rules. Go Irish. Thanks domehead.

• Does anyone else think Charlie Weis is never going to be more popular in South Bend than he is right now? Let's face it, Notre Dame fans are going to expect a national title sooner than later. But guess what? The Irish's next two schedules both include games against Penn State, Michigan, USC and UCLA, among others. He could be the greatest coach since Vince Lombardi and still go 9-3.

Phil Taylor: Weis parlayed a 6-2 record into a 10-year extension

Sports Illustrated - Nov 02 12:34 PM

Apparently Charlie Weis can orchestrate a contract situation as deftly as he manipulates an offense. Weis has turned a 6-2 record in his first season as Notre Dame's coach into a 10-year extension worth a reported $30-$40 million. After eight games -- and granted, one of them was an epic loss to the best team in the nation -- Weis has the school's administration convinced that he's simply

 well at least ND isnt irrelevent anymore huh Sir John

:D Champion this one was funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn to keep track of. Ahahahahah.

We sure aren't irrevalent. I mean I expect crap of course but such SI blowing facts and all. Gosh I would love to have been in SI's Editorial room at that point.

If I were Coach Weis or ND Media and one of SI's people wanted an interview or even in the press box....I'd say Nooooooo.

I do admire Yahoo News for keeping the original 6=2 Teaser. :D Yahoo is not responsible for changing the inner content like SI.

PS> Mandrell I thought we had a tough schedule 2005 according to you? Then we beat most and suddenly they were not tough? Let ND worry about 2006 in 2006. We know your crapping out columns. PPS tell that girlfriend you mentioned many think your a dork. Poor little thing.

:D Sport Illistrated is dizzy. NOTRE DUMB has now been replaced on 11-03-05 with the header "His biggest Victory"
