i love that article. read it and weap UM.

We're forgetting the team that was closer to home for him, and that some here not more than a month ago thought he was a "lock" for. USC! Thats the real team we're stickin' this one to.

F usc! I hate them... The day is fast approaching when we will have some serious battles again. I cant wait to snap that freakin losing streak. Whatya say men!?!?!?!?!?

10-0

That was my favorite part!

Would it be to bad of a pun to say the Skunkbears are getting skunked?????

10-0, How does that tweak your man-boobs Lloyd?

Here's a little bit of trivia for you readers out there. I just flipped through the player profiles on scout.com and noticed that there are ten committed recruits who held scholarship offers from both Notre Dame and Michigan. Anyone know the breakdown of who chose Notre Dame versus Michigan?

The answer? 10-0, Notre Dame. Draw your own conclusions.

Have to reign in Filer. CB needs to have a little one on one with him and end this nonsense.

I never once thought USC was a leader and never really understood why people thought that. He raved about ND before he even visited there and we were side by side with USC (Whom he already had visited and said it was "ok") I thought he'd take his officials, but I guess I'll take a summer verbal. Filer rubs me the wrong way and wouldn't really worry about him...The guy I'm focused on his Sabino for OLB. He's got a late summer early fall decision and early enrollment plan. He'd be huge for the defense....man how many huge gets have we gotten on D this year? every recruit is huge.

i've never had a good feeling about sabino becoming irish but i hope to god i'm wrong. like i was wrong in thinking he was from north carolina a few months ago!

in all seriousness, is there any tangible reason to be optimistic about him? any statements or inside info?

i believe i read that sabino wants to leave florida for college but we'll see if that holds up. at one point people thought that ND was the leader for him. then he went to GT and had a real good time and gave the impression that GT was toward the top of his list and today i read that he wants to get up and visit OSU. i believe ND has a shot with him but we'll need to say on top of our game if we want to land him.

getting back to Michigan...i saw this quote by a poster on another board, wish it was mine but its not, he said:

"

Michigan has it hard recruiting. They have to find kids good enough to play, but still dumb enough to think UM will allow them to get a real education. Narrows the field quite a bit."

thats an interesting quote considering that michigan is actually a great college to get an education at. it seems it's all about preception and how you allow others to view you.

Michigan is a great school if you choose to utilize it. Look up the majors of their football players and you'll find that the vast majority of them are in joke majors. Michigan will allow their athletes to bypass the whole pesky education thing if they so choose. I believe that might be what was being referred to.

Make no mistake about it...Michigan is one of the best academic schools. Miami certainly is, but again another example of basket weaving degrees down there for athletes.

Forgive me Dangeruss, but i couldnt resist...
