Or rather, which positions are left.

We've got about 5 spots left based on a number of estimates.

My guesses:

1 RB - Gray

1 WR/CB - Floyd/Brown

1 OL - Forst/Long

1 LB - Filer/Beal

1 S - McCarthy

1 ??? - Elite prospect somewhere we're okay like Forston.

What do you think?

It'll be Ryan Williams or Carlton Thomas at RB or no one.

here's my big board, in no particular order. if ND doesn't bring anyone back for a 5th year from the class of 2004 then ND could bring in 25 recruites.

Beal is OUT

LONG to FSU to play hardball

McCarthy and Floyd will decide for ND soon according to all the speculation.

dont forget Baldwin and Butler at WR (If they all want to come we will akek room-making it 4 WR this year: Floyd, Butler, Baldwin, Goodman.

guys you have to bing in regardless: Baldwin, Butler, Forston, Patchan, Sabino

Way off on:

Long - committed to FSU, to play baseball.

Pretty unlikely:

Beal - ND's staff isn't really talking to him, and he isn't really talking to ND. Mike Frank, Mike Farrell, and pretty much everyone else knows will tell you this is over. USC and UF are the probables, with OSU as my 3rd best guess. Crazy things could happen, but its pretty unlikely.

Gray - Mike Frank mentioned that Cyrus may not be academically qualified at this point. Aside from that, we're going harder after two different backs - one that said ND is the leader (Carlton Thomas), and another that has us in his top 2 with Va Tech (Ryan Williams).

Forst - Just ask the Jersey guys here what they think/hear/feel on Forst.

This is more "realistic" (for whatever thats worth):

RB (0-1) Thomas, Williams

WR (2-3) Floyd, Baldwin, Jeremy Brown*

OL (1) Page, Patchan, Late Bloomer (i.e. Taylor Dever)

LB (1) Sabino, Filer

DB (1-2) McCarthy, Jeremy Brown*

Stud Muffin (0-1) Forston, Arthur Brown

I don't think Blue has been spending too much time on the recruiting page lately.

Here are my educated guesses:

RB (0-1) Ryan Williams

WR (2-3) Michael Floyd and Jeremy Brown

OL (1) Patchan

LB (1) Sabino

DB (1-2) McCarthy

The day I start a recruiting service I will do away with the ATH description and all prospects will instead be stud muffins! :D I think I disturb myself

QB-Done

RB- Calton Thomas (stud)

WR-Floyd, Baldwin

LB-Sabino

S- McCarthy

Russ, while i like your wishfull thinking on the 25 recruits comming without anyone going for their 5th year, that won't happen, we are the school of 5th years, only Fasano, and Walker have left early since '94 (i think..)

Yikes, NDGirl! That is the list of lists. I hope you were using your crystal ball. That would haul of recruits would rival Florida's class from 2007!

Alan, not my list. i used the quoted someone else.

If I were CW, I would try and take 22-23 recruits this year, saving spots for some 5-star longshots like McGuffie, Pryor, and Arthur Brown.

Sorry, Russ! Anyway, "Girl" what does your crystal ball tell you?
