This is unreal!! I love it. To think that we now have 17 on board and Ty did not have one at this point in time in 2004.

It is amazing Hombre. But, I think we all lost touch with what was really possible with a little bit of hard work. I feel confident that if there were ever a probe/study into recruiting practices, TY would be the WORST recruiter in the history of college football. He was the head coach at the most prestigious football school in the WORLD. And got out recruited by the likes of Ball St.

this has been an amazing year for recruiting. all the guys we are picking up are need positions, which is awesome. But being a pessimist, I am worried that when our team doesn't have a great year some of these recruits will look elsewhere. I know Charlies new rule about making a "commitment" but in the end the kid can still backout. I know CW and CB will keep recruiting these guys to the end, but play on the field is also important.

Valid concern, but we don't have to pull a miracle on defense. We just need to show the scheme, be aggressive and improve from last year. If we aren't great, it should just illustrate that they have a real chance to start. But I hope we are much improved.
