Guest cpprhead59
very interested in where Zach will end up if he leaves. It has been some time since an ND transfer went to another big school and ended with a solid career (I am not counting Olsen since he never really played for ND). I can think of Levens at GT, Kelchner at WVU, Kustok at Northwestern and Jaamar Taylor at TAMU but most seem to leave and go to smaller schools or are never heard from again. Any others? I wish Zach the best in his decision. I would love him to stay but he has to do what is right for him.
rdrdreamer
What are his chances of choosing Miami? Is he really serious about us? While I have not been a big fan of the Miami teams of the past, I still enjoy the way they approach their football. I honestly hope Zach goes there, I will not only follow him, but will wish him and Miami all the best.

Guest IntoTheRain
I kept watching all those assurances from gallup, and all I could think was no way. No, I'm not criticizing gallup for what was obviously reported to him, I just knew there was no way a kid who thinks he can play is gonna sit forever to get an education. this was set in stone to me the moment Clausen decided to come. Not necessarily because he would win, more because there was just a traffic jam at QB that I don't believe Zach is capable of navigating. Once again, this post isn't intended to offend anyone. I just think it was fairly obvious that this was coming.
Guest SirJohn
18th first day of class for all..... Now if transfer is coming this is the rosters for those mentioned, if Zach sits out a year; I checked all the schools ********************** Eliminating Louisville if a transfer is coming ahead of Zach would be And NOT knowing recruiting for each school listed below the 2007 rosters lists UConn Lists as QBs 1 Sr, 2 Soph, 1 Fresh East Carolina 3 Soph, 1 Jr Rutgers 1 Sr, 1 Jr, 2 So, 2 Fresh Miami 1 Sr, 4 Jr
Guest SirJohn
From this.... Miami would look like a good place to transferr, Makingteam you love to hate happy The Seniors gone this year. Zach sits out a year as the 4 Jr's become Seniors. Nothing else but possible Freshmen. Zack would have threes of football experince by then
paisan78
Can anyone answer the question? LOL When does the scholly he leaves become available to us? If he transfers for the fall, does that mean we have an extra scholly for this years class?
Guest SirJohn
Sorry paisan. I think it's availbe this and next year. I did check Miami recruiting they list only one QB so far 2008 Not ranked. Taylor Cook but he's 6-7
IrishCalves
Can anyone answer the question? LOL When does the scholly he leaves become available to us? If he transfers for the fall, does that mean we have an extra scholly for this years class? I noticed the lack of answers as well. The transfer would open up a spot for someone in this incoming class, but my hunch is Weis wouldn't devote it to this class, unless he absolutely had to. We're already looking at bringing in 21-23 guys which is healthy enough as is. The year after this one is already looking at just 14-15 scholarships (we'd be just about done if it was this year - think of that!), so I tend to think Weis would hold over any transfer alloted scholarships, unless an undeniable 5 star athlete knocked on our door for NSD. At this point, those prospects are looking dimmer and dimmer, so I think Frazer's scholarship would re-appear in the 09 class.
Guest SirJohn
Thanks Calves. We should make your transfer rule a sticky I had a NCAA rule book PDF form as that question has come up before. I deleted December all 2006 articles, pix and info from my Fav list asl old news to make room for 2007's. But it's interesting miami's QB larder is empty when Zach could be eligible to play. Miami sends tons of guys to the NFL.
ND FANATIC
Where ever he goes, I wish him the best. If he's actually looking for a MAC school, I know Toledo needs a QB - but I don't think he'll end up in the MAC.
