Forst has changed his announcement time frame. He was expected to announce early but he has put it off. He is now expecting to take some of his officials. That list will probably be ND, Rutgers and Florida.

Thanks for the heads up Rockne. From Irishmans Blog I see all are in a "No Contact "calls" mode between recruits and coaches till Sept 1st. Be interesting to see what happens.

?? The NCAA rule is absolutely no calls till Sept 1st. Letters are OK, if that was what you were asking?

As I've said earlier, chalk one up for Florida. If this kid doesn't make a decision by early season, he is gone! Actually, probably is already. I like this guy and would love to have him as an OL addition. Just not gonna happen!

Vegas: slow down now...Forst is truly undecided right now. He does not know what to do or really have any favorites. He is simply agoniozing over the decision right now. Lots of issues in play for him in his life right now I have some good inside info on him from some people close to Squan High. (state champs 9 times in last 12 years and their field is a cow pasture BTW)

I am witholding some of it b/c dont want to jeopardize in any way their trust or do anything that could skew a favorable ND outcome...not that he is a silent to ND or any BS like that, he is NOT, just that i have some info and curretnly trying to get confirmation from more sources. when time is right i will share but will hold back on it if i think it could hurt our chances, help others get him. hopes this makes some sense. In short i dont want to "Pull a Prister" on Forst a la Little from 2007 class.

But, I've been around enough of these kids to know that what they tell you is usually NOT what they are REALLY thinking. I hope you are right, but I'd bet my house on Florida at this point. I'd bet my pool on Rutgers!

First he's going to make his decision early...then he takes his second trip to ND, and he pushes it his date back and decides to take officials. I wonder if he was thinking about Florida the entire time on his ND visit C'mon, right now it's looking good for us. I'm not saying we're leading, I'm saying it's waaay too close to call. Forst will be Irish, if somebody else doesn't take his spot.

As Hunter said "I was thinking UM, and then I saw ND" - perhaps Forst went to ND thinking he would be able to easily eliminate us, but when he got here he fell in love with the place and Suburban Cryer is in his ear confusing him. Give him time and let him be Irish.

I just don't see him going to Florida at all.

just a clarification I have NEVER spoken to Art one on one. i leave it at that for now...and FWIW i am a Jersey guy and am trying feverishly these last few months to get as much info in my network as possible on Will Hill and Forst specifically-the only Jersey guys i have seen live and on tape for some time now who i think we need real bad...

Again, IMO, if things were going poorly with Forst, we would have seen an offer to Pocic. That didn't happen. So, the circumstances lead me to be cautiously optimistic.

I have to agree with Vegas on this one. There is just something about his recruitment that hasn't felt right for a while. This isn't intended to question anyone's sources or opinions just to say that I think he probably goes elsewhere. I have been wrong before and could be again but I just don't get the feeling that he is all that excited about ND.
