An UGA fan is reporting that Omar Hunter came away from ND verrry impressed and that he will be committing to ND on Tuesday. This is from the mainboard on Rivals....and we should all be very skeptical about this as it may just be an attempt to screw with ND fans. Also, there is no guaranteeing the accuracy of this information.

 

I just thought I'd pass this along. At least this will make Hunter's decision a bit more interesting for us, even if we don't wind up with him.

If this is true, I will be too excited to take finals this week. This kid is a beast and a 4.0 student who grew up a Wolverine fan.

I think that would be a HUGE get. He's my personal favorite D-line recruit this year!

Didn't Hunter visit Michigan this weekend? Anyone hear how that visit went? I rewatched his rivals video and he is pretty sick. extremely fast and strong

I am one of those skeptics and I know nothing about this particular recruit. But, if this is true, it is HUGE!

Apparently he will be announcing either tomorrow or tuesday, but he told Steve Hare that it'll definitely be out tomorrow. He also said his trip to ND was amazing and one of the best trips he's ever been on.

 

i think that the fact he called Hare back is a good sign for us. He also stated that Hunter said he really hit it off at one scholl, but that was it. Hmmmmmm ????

This rumor is heating up....Mods from Michigan and ND both got in touch with Omar tonight, and basically the ND mod came away from the conversation feeling pretty good, and the Michigan mod came away from his conversation feeling the opposite.

 

We could be in for a nice surprise tomorrow evening.

He'll announce tomorrow at 6. Grew up a UM fan and it's his dream school. I don't think he's ever visited ND and he went into last week knowing he was definently going to decide after these two visits. That makes me skeptical because he wouldn't be so sure about commiting and if he hadn't been to ND yet so that would make it likely he had another in mind going into the visit. Watching his film reminds me of Forston IMO. He's GOOD. Very fast and nasty. Darius Walkers old HS and I think his commitment would wrap up our recruiting of Forston IMO. Weis told Goebel he wanted to take 5 D-lineman and 2-3 D ends so I would assume he'd continue to recruit Goebel harder than any other team as already stated by Goebel himself. You can't help, but be excited after watching his film and maybe stealing ANOTHER recruit from UM especially when UM was his dream offer. We'll find out soon enough.

players who's recruitments arent making huge news seem to throw ND in mix near the end and it always pumps up interest (E. Griffen when we knew he was a lock to USC). I'm a little skeptical about this but I might be willing to believe it.

 

I'm worried because I went on record already saying that if i was a 5 star recruit i'd silent to USC and screw them before i came out for ND (i probably wouldn't but i'd want to). I'm sure most kids out there wouldn't do that unless they are huge fans of a team and hate their rival. I thought hunter was a huge Michigan fan.

 

whatever, i hope we hear some good news tomorrow
