Has anyone have any info on this guy seems that we are going after him as a RB.And he is from Florida.Hope someone has film on this guy cause it seems that he is another fast back.

i know that the coaches recently visited him, dk how the visit went though. i know we're in his top 5 too.

 

Quality's not great but you can see what the fuss is about. I'm sure someone else here can speak to our chances with Thomas (I don't have the faintest idea), but I do know I want him to be Irish. Bad.

 

 

I know everyone's getting used to the speed/power combos we've been recruiting at RB, but just because we're probably only going to take one in this class, doesn't neccesarily mean we have to go after a protoype "balanced" back. Thomas has been somewhat dismissed by recruiting services because of his size (or lack there of), but I don't think thats a legitamate issue.

 

 

People knocked Barry Sanders for being small, but it sure didn't stop him from being one of the best backs of all time. I think it helped in fact. Im not saying Carlton Thomas is the next Barry Sanders, but Houston Nutt and others HAVE made that comparison......

Also, I have no idea why the first link for that video under related videos is "Jennifer Love Hewitt Stripping", but feel free to investigate it thoroughly for any signs of Carlton Thomas. I checked a like four times, but couldn't find him anywhere....

He said he favored us about a week ago. Said we are recruiting him the hardest and have not let up since the day he was offered by us. Wants to go somewhere where he can play right away and not sit on the bench. He said he basically will wait as long as he can to see who wants him the most.

and I also saw that he hasn't been evaluated yet by scout. Where did you see 3 stars?

i repeat, he's my #1 choice at running back this year. forget the early scout ranking, it's retarded. Kid should probably be a 5 star. Doesn't matter though. 10+ yards per carry average and been a starter since he was a frosh....in Florida. And his film doesn't lie...watch the clip where hte little guy goes head first into a guy on the goal line. Kid's a sure fire success.

I like this kid. He plays top competition in Florida and has the speed, is crazy strong, and 10 ypc!!!! I want tthis kid so bad.

yeah and its 10+. I think its something like 13, and its not all from running sweeps. His film shows him taking pitches, off tackle, dives, everything.

 

OT: J Love Hewitt is pretty.

its 13 1/2 but whos counting. that is rediculous.

The run at the 3:54ish mark almost makes you feel bad for those defenders. Almost. I dont even think the first 3 got a hand on him. That run definitely reminds me of Sanders.
