Bhatta - I hope your buddy is right. When is Forst looking to make a decision?

That would be a huge pick up bhatta, lets hope your buddies info is correct.

After hearing rumors of him possibly favoring UF, it's good to hear this. If you friend is right, this would be HUGE. Two of the stud OT in this class commiting to ND within a week of one another. Not to mention that would end our O-line recruiting....then we could focus solely on the D-line.

This is great. Forst will close out the oline.

that would be awesome but no way would it stop us from continuting to recruit Page.

I would have to agree there Rock always room for another great OL.

great to hear, another top 100 player and a Jersey guy, plus this would give us bookend tackles for this class

I still would rather see some DL commit rather than more and more OL (I realize depth is great but only so many can get on the field), but this is good news nonetheless.

Even with only 5 on the field (assuming its not a goal line situation). Competition brings out the best in everyone and having that kind of talent across the offensive line only means great things for our offense. Sadly I think thats was the only set back on offense during Brady Quinn's tenure was the inconsistant offensive line play as a whole.

If you think about it too, since the Nuss and Nwankwo moves look more and more like permanent moves rather than "we'll give you a look at ___", we're filling holes from last year. We went into last class thinking we'd get 4 guys, and only came away with 2 thanks to the position switches. So, in a way we've only picked up 1 "new" verbal in this year's class thus far.

If it were to be a scenario of having to turn away a Kenneth Page for another defender, I think it'd be pretty hard. I certainly wouldn't mind 5 OL in this year's class, but whatever is to happen will happen.

Im pretty sure he's taking 3 officials to UF, RU, ND. I don't see him picking us let alone now.

Remember when Mike Golic said he would let his son be a walk-on or something in order to free up more room. I think he was kidding, but that would be awesome

IrishKnight, you are a smart man. As much as I hate to say it, Forst will NOT be a domer. He is UF's to lose. And they haven't lost many the past few years. Once again, learning the recruiting game is not just about reading the articles or even reading between the lines, it's about reading through the lines. I'll leave you DD clones to figure that one out! But, Forst will, unfortunately, not be Irish. Take it for what it is worth, which right now is not much. But, like a finely aged wine, that bit of info will be priceless in the near future.

if he doesnt pick ND, it's because he stayed home to play for Rutgers

I agree, the Jersey guys know that Rutgers will reel him in(I think rather easily.)

I hope you guys are right!

Would love to have Forst 6ft 8" 288 Holy :censored:

That dude could probably throw me at least 5-10 yards!

Dude, Alan Page is a great player (and judge) and I know he led us to a NC in 1966, but isn't he just a little too old? And I think he used up his eligibility. :?

 I am going to assume you are joking around...I thing he was reffering to Kenneth Page(A prospect from South Carolina)

When a man gets old enough to be distracted by his prostate, you should never assume anything about him.

lol  duly noted my friend
