Somewhat surprised that none of our targets (linebackers) are in the top five. Has ND offered any of these five or are they all problematic academically?

Thanks Russ

ND has offered Brown, Hale, and Bradham but I don't think any of them are leaning NDs way :(

I am very happy with the people who are leaning NDs way like Fleming, McDonald, and hopefully Filer.

I was surprised not to hear Michael Floyd's name on the top 5 wideouts list. I think for sure he is a top 5 wideout.

WR seems to be a very top heavy class this year (lots of top WRs but only too few spots) but i would question Jonathan Baldwin being the #2 WR. i was pleasently surprised to see sam mcguffie ranked as the #2 RB over guys like ryan williams and darrell scott.

Russ, I believe Baldwin will be a TE? I think most teams are recruiting him to play that and the list was for Top WRs and TEs.

Also, I thought the lists said they weren't in any particular order?

FWIW:

Tom Lemming had Floyd as his top WR for LAST YEAR's recruiting cycle...but then agian its Lemming.

This is what he said recently in regards to WR's in 2008:

"Specifically, the wide receiver corps has never been better. I've never seen such a deep group in what's now my 29 years doing this.

Michael Floyd beat out some seniors and made my All-American team this past year at the position."

im pretty sure all were in alphabetical order except for the top player in each group

Thanks for positing again patrick :D

This year is loaded with WRs.

1. AJ Green

2. Julio Jones

3. Michael Floyd

4. DJ Shoemate

5. Daryl Stonum

6. Dan Buckner

AJ Green not the number 1 WR is a joke to me

True story

haha,

Good in action

Long in action

Love in action

2-4 Offensive linemen.

completely agree. His videos are insane. Bush-like.

Green should be the #1 player let alone the top WR

If he was uncommited you wouldn't stop hearing about him

Green should be #1, but Julio Jones is a special special kid. He will dominate wherever he ends up.

I am not sure why Green is not getting the love he deserves.

Unless the kids ahead of him have highlight tapes of them wearing capes and letting bullets bounce off of their chests, Green is the number one guy in the land. It shouldn't even be a question about #1 WR.......

for rbs i was really impressed with jeremy calhoun and richard samuel's speed. sam mcguffie was pretty amazing too.

how about that Ashley Russell...she has the Erin Andrews factor working for her...
